Anti-gay baker Melissa Klein openly cried at the Values Voter Summit last week over the forced closing of her business due to backlash stemming from her refusal to make a cake for a lesbian couple's wedding.
In January 2013, Sweet Cakes By Melissa refused service to a lesbian couple looking for a wedding cake. The subsequent fallout included national media attention and a state investigation for anti-gay discrimination -- perpetuated by the Kleins' continued actions, such as baking cakes for an "ex-gay" group.
The couple is now reportedly fighting a $150,000 lawsuit from the state, a reality that made Klein break into tears while discussing her passion for the process of baking wedding cakes during the Values Voter Summit.
"For me personally when I would sit down with them, I just would want to know everything about her wedding," an emotional Klein told the audience. "I'd want to know about the flowers, her dress, the centerpieces, her colors, the way her hair is going to be. I would even want to talk about 'where are you going on your honeymoon?'"

Homosexuality is a judgement on America.
This needs to be pointed out consistently - homosexuality will not just bring judgement upon our country; homosexuality IS the judgement. Romans 1:26 starts with “For this reason” and continues “God gave them up to vile passions.” “..men with men committing what is shameful”; so this is a judgement upon our society.
It also continues and says that they give approval to others for more and more evil acts. We see this today with our legislatures accepting homosexual marriages and the teaching of it as acceptable in the schools.
Note also that Romans 1:32 points out that those who approve of such conduct are just as guilty as those who engage in it.

It would be one thing if a homosexual walked in and wanted to buy some cookies from the display case or a prebaked cake for them to take home and was refused, then I could see a case for makign a federal case out of it...
But we are talking about a CUSTOM product here, something that the “Artisan” has to devote time and effort to perform a service or a make a good that is CUSTOM and requires artistic TALENT!
They have to make a custom cake dealing with subject Matter they may not be comfortable with and then set it up at a place the Artisan MAY NOT BE COMFORTABLE AT!
