Gov. Jerry Brown has signed legislation creating a new loan program for undocumented students in California’s public universities.

California has already taken several steps to make college more affordable for undocumented students, including extending in-state tuition to undocumented immigrants who graduate from California high schools and making them eligible to apply for Cal Grant scholarships.

Brown signed the bill on Sunday without comment.

Why even bother with the pretense of making a loan? Just stand on a corner somewhere and hand out money to all and sundry.

Hope his heart fails before I finish writing this.

My kid can’t afford to go to school in California but an illegal can.

California should just come right out and admit that it has been annexed by Mexico.

California is no longer a part of the United States. It is now a province of Mexico.

No! The State has not been annexed; it’s the California Democrat Party. But if you insist on territory, then it is the San Francisco - Sacramento corridor with a dash of LA thrown in for good luck.

“...it’s almost like they are doing this stuff on purpose.”

::::::::::

You cannot make this kind of criminal complicity up. It is all about Democrat power and control. If resident Mexicans (legal and illegal) voted Republican, none of this welfare-state vote buying would be taking place.

I hear what you’re saying, but California’s political class sold out the state to Mexico.

Yeah, there are some pockets of Americans still trying to hold out there, but for the most part California is lost. I read that almost 2/3 of the state’s population are NOT Caucasian, nor are a majority of California’s population native English speakers.

I’m sure this will in no way take money, desks and college degrees from taxpaying US students.

Anyone who thinks that the undocumented illegals will endeavor to faithfully and completely pay back any and all loans is a democrat...Jerry Brown might as well drive down Highway 1 tossing money out the window...
