Over 56,000 Russian tourists have had to be helped home from their holidays this year because the ruble’s collapse to an all-time low against the dollar has caused a string of tour operators to go bust.

The arrest of one of Russia's richest men last week was an attempt by President Vladimir Putin to protect himself from a palace coup

The US/EU should put sanctions on Russia that mirror Iran. And these sanctions should be applied to the entire CSTO, to prevent sanctions busting. The US and EU should also consider travel bans on US/EU citizens visiting Russia and CSTO territories. Russia should also be declared a “state sponsor of terrorism” for their support of the Ukraine rebels, Assad, and the Iranians.

Furthermore, the US should sanction China for its support of Russia, and start a massive arms buildup in Eastern Europe and in Japan/south Korea and Taiwan to box them in.

Good for Japan.

Putin will end his days in a cage or hanging from his heels in the public square.

Despite what everyone has been saying, I always thought his arrest had something to do with the oligarchs getting nervous.

"The roots of this threat reside in the project of a 'New World Order' of global domination pursued by a totalizing ideology subduing the diversity of cultural traditions and of the historical 'world pictures' of humanity and nature."

Japan also has a surprising amount of hostility from China - their relationship has really become aggressive. China is standing with Russia on the Europe front, so this policy would fit with that.

I think China is in some way linked to the MH370 mystery. But how, I don’t know.

Japan’s claim to those disputed northern islands vanished when it unconditionally surrendered to the Allies at the end of WW2. Maybe someone needs to remind those bastards they lost.

You have to be clueless to think Obama is doing anything for Ukraine.

So you're proposing another operation code name 'Barbarosa'. This time you want us to do what Hitler tried and failed.

Hitler wanted the Russians' living space and natural resources. As Putin see's it, you and other crazies now want the same.
