It rattled and banged and made lots of noise for a LONG time! They say a whole minute, which seems very long as you wonder is going to happen and should you vacate. It’s the biggest for me so far.
No one big thump. No roller. Loud and shaky and rattling everything. Nothing came down in my cubbie, but the bosses stand up heater fell over, and several file cabinet drawers came open.

A Matter Of Trust
Sept 26, 2014
Read: Psalm 5
A news item from Australia told the story of Pascale Honore, a paraplegic woman who, after 18 years of being confined to a wheelchair, has taken up surfing. How?
Ty Swan, a young surfer, straps her to his back with duct tape. After getting the balance perfect, Ty paddles out into the ocean so they can catch a wave and Pascale can experience the exhilaration of surfing. This requires a tremendous amount of trust; so many things could go wrong. Yet her confidence in Ty is enough to enable her to enjoy a dream come true, in spite of the danger.
Life is like that for the follower of Christ. We live in a dangerous world, filled with unpredictable challenges and unseen perils. Yet, we have joy because we know Someone who is strong enough to carry us through the churning waves of life that threaten to overwhelm us. The psalmist wrote, Let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You (Ps. 5:11).
In the face of lifes great dangers and challenges, we can know a joy borne out of our trust in God. His strength is more than enough!
Im so glad I learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end. Stead
Our faith is stretched by exchanging our weakness for Gods strength.
In Psalm 5, David celebrates the nearness of God. Though He is Lord, God, and King, He is near to those who love and trust Him. God defends those who trust in Him (v.11), blesses the righteous, and surrounds them with a shield (v.12).

Did you have a Terrific Thursday?
I’m headed home to see if anything jumped off the walls or fell down.
Back in a bit.

No offense, but at this time in my life, I prefer a “no-kid” cafe. ROFL!!
Unless my granddaughters are with me, of course! :)

I did indeed Sally Forth this morning - I was late bursting through the Sally Port - I had an absolutely miserable night - hardly slept at all. Fortunately, I was able to get a full day in at work - I'll be able to break out at about 1:00 tomorrow afternoon for the weekend.
I hope no-one was injured in the earthquake - apparently the Pacific Rim was active at several points today.

O stranger, tell the Lacedaemonians that we lie here, obedient to their command.
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

I am watching an amazing documentary about WW1 on the AHC Channel.
All those old B7W films have been digitally remastered in color.
The story is astounding...and guess who some of the most brutal bad guys were?
(I will give you a hint...they are not current EU member nor From North America)

The Turks.
They beheaded people and posed with the heads.
In WW1.
And they called it “Jihad”. Interesting, that 100 years later, it’s still going on.
And that is not even counting what they did to the Armenian Christians.
I am hitting the sack as soon as the series ends at 11:00

Only found one thing on the floor upstairs....I’m really surprised, the way it shook every which way.
Will check downstairs when I check on the laundry.
Hope you sleep better tonight.
