The Turks.
They beheaded people and posed with the heads.
In WW1.
And they called it “Jihad”. Interesting, that 100 years later, it’s still going on.
And that is not even counting what they did to the Armenian Christians.

I am not even slightly surprised, ML! The Armenian Genocide was absolutely horrific and no one is talking about it anymore. I read of one incident in that genocide - the Metropolitan of Istanbul, IIRC, was dragged through the streets by the Islamists. He continuously made the Sign of the Cross with his right hand as he was dragged along. Once his tormenters perceived this, they hacked his right arm off and continued to drag him to his death and afterward.
This is exactly what we - the remnants of Western Civilization - face at this time.
Rest easy, ML!

O stranger, tell the Lacedaemonians that we lie here, obedient to their command.
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

The Turks continue to be a problem.
Not one I’d care to be friends with...can’t seem to be trusted.
Have a Fantastic Friday! ((HUGS))
