Wisconsin offices that issue driver's licenses aren't open enough hours to issue photo IDs to all the voters who need them before the Nov. 4 election, a liberal group told federal judges in a brief filed Monday.
Wisconsin's 2011 law requires voters to show a government-issued ID with a photo to vote. Because of legal challenges, the requirement had not been enforced since the February 2012 primary. But a three-judge panel of the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago said Sept. 12 that the law could be used for the Nov. 4 election and other elections while it considers the merits of arguments against the law.
Two civil rights groups asked the entire appeals court last week to reconsider that decision.
One Wisconsin Institute told the court Monday that a significant difference between the Wisconsin case and one involving Indiana's photo ID law was voters' ability to actually get IDs. The U.S. Supreme Court found Indiana's law acceptable.

So, let’s take an account of the process.
Clinton REQUIRED motor-voter entanglement where-in the DL (with photo!) also provided voter registration.
Now, that same party (Dhimmicrat) asserts that ID laws are discriminatory.
Does the eGOP consider (or assert) that obtaining a DL is “raycisss”?
Wisconsin Voter ID under scrutiny AGAIN!
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
So.. all this time, these people have never opened a bank account, cashed a check, bought alcohol, gotten a tattoo, bought a house, or rented an apartment.
The same people who complain about having to show an ID to vote have no problem with showing an ID to cash a check at the liquor store.
Yes we are trying to prevent "some people" from voting - exactly those people that can't get an ID! If they can't get an ID they have no business voting. Tough. Any and every real citizen that can make it to the polls can get an ID. Sorry, these people get zero sympathy from me, this is exactly why the law was written.
Correction - they’re open 8:30-12:30.
So, illegal alien “children” processed by our Federal nannies can get documentation almost out of thin air very quickly but US citizens can’t? What am I missing here?
I find it amusing that poor little Alabama can implement voter ID with nary a peep out of the media. The state put up a bunch of billboards about ID requirement and that was that.
What a crock of sh*t!
The key to this whole head fake by the liberals to distract from the Voter ID requirement in the upcoming election, is the appeals court judge. If he’s an embedded leftie, he may side with the idiot liberals who can’t seem to find their way to the DMV. But if he is a real constitutional judge, he will tell them they are full of sh*t and allow the ID requirement to remain for the November midterms.
Easy enough solution, have the DMV offices open a few extra hours a week to issue IDs only.
Exactly my point in Post #6.
LIBs are mentally ill. They are so full of BS. This “I can’t get an ID BS is just that...BS. You need an ID for just about anything nowadays.
How does one cash a welfare check without a photo ID?
How does one board an airplane?
How does one check into a hotel?
How does one write a check?
How does one drive a car?
How does one enter a bar?
How does one buy cigarettes or alcohol? (signs that read “we ID under 35 are common these days)
Even South Africa and Iraq wanted protections against ballot box stuffing. The Democrats know it’s how they “win” elections.
BUMP! And I see my old tagline has found a good home. ;)
Have you heard Hizzonner May-jor Soglin on the radio, lately? The panic in his voice over this situation is worth the price of admission. Suh-weet!
Next week? Mooch & RINO Christie are showing up. Yeesh.
I cannot WAIT for the debates, though! Love My Gov! :)
Me, too!
