On a whim, my wife and I thought about moving there and then did a little research. Other than it being too expensive, we discovered that there is a roach problem. And supplies are limited and just about everything has to be shipped in including of all things, eggs.
Nothing like good ol’ Colorado or lower 48.
I wonder how the bedbugs got to Hawaii? Maybe they caught a ride on Air Force One.
There probably are very few hotels who don’t have one or two rooms infested with bedbugs which come in on guest belongings and luggage.
I wonder if they transferred any of their little friends to the cushions on the airplane they flew to return to ‘Murica? Flying has gotten disgusting enough without that added luxury.
I live in the Florida panhandle and have never had bedbugs ever. We would have problems with roaches and rats if I didn’t continually fight them. I do manage to generally keep them away tho.
Now spiders are something I simply don’t seem to be able to eliminate. I probably see one on the ceiling about once a week.
Cedarcide is a great product for keeping all kinds of pesties down in your home
And it makes your whole house smell like cedar (which I loved but some may not be so fond of)
I bought some for a new house I bought that turned out to have quite a problem... I bought the large fogger too- but it turned out to be a great investment- I also put other oils in and peppermint oil keeps mice away and other oils make the house smell great for months
I stayed there in 90`s and there weren`t any bugs anywhere coz there were MILLIONS OF FROGS everywhere.
