I live in the Florida panhandle and have never had bedbugs ever. We would have problems with roaches and rats if I didn’t continually fight them. I do manage to generally keep them away tho.

Now spiders are something I simply don’t seem to be able to eliminate. I probably see one on the ceiling about once a week.

Pssst. When we lived in Boca, we found that a couple of “house chameleons” usually did the trick. AND they are SOOO cute.

I’m in tampa and know what you mean about spiders. I have found if I am very aggressive about eliminating g their food supply they are far less numerous.
