The UN will give them refugee status. Obama and the UN will agree for the USA to receive over 200,000 muslim refugees AFTER THE NOVEMBER ELECTIONS.
....the NATO response will be.....
Meanwhile the Obamanation dithers.
What happened to the Peshmerga that we were told were about to stop ISIS advances?
And bombings by the US Navy do not seem to be very effective.
And what are the highly trained Iraqi forces doing?
Sitzkrieg all over again.
The US will have to launch sustained airstrikes into Syria to stop ISIS from consolidating major territorial gains.
Will that happen?
We should know by tomorrow.
They have, continue to do so and are taking back towns seized by ISIS throughout northern Iraq with the help of our air strikes and now with those of the French.
THIS IS SYRIA = SYRIAN KURDS who have no support from us.
The other are IRAQI KURDS IN IRAQ.
Thanks for the update.
Thanks GonzoII.
Just what we need, more 3rd world people.
yep
Just what we need, more 3rd world people.
Not just more 3rd world people. There will be a lot of them that will want to blow us up.
We cannot afford all the people we have now. It won’t be long before this nation is totally broken.
Hundreds of Greek soldiers flee into Troy (inside a horse).
Isn’t 45,000 an invasion?
Shitzkrieg.
Is Turkey the last semi-westernized part of the ME aside from Israel or am I mistaken?
Hurt ISIS and it helps Assad. That is the big dilemma.
No, Turkey has become increasingly Islamicized, and suspicion is that the current Turkish government is actually covertly supporting ISIS. They don’t want to support them to the extent that ISIS takes over Turkey, but they want ISIS to Islamicize every place around Turkey. They’ve made a deal with the Devil, though, and I doubt that even the current quasi-Islamist Turkish government will be able to control it.
The big dilemma is why aren't we supporting Assad? He protected Christians and other minorities and kept the maniacs in check. The fact that the Saudis want him overthrown should be a reason we support him!
No dilemma....we're on the wrong side in Syria.
Unfortunely, the US cannot overtly support Assad without losing a huge amount of credibility, especially with so-call moderate rebel forces. Israel also expects us to be opposed to Assad. I figure Obama will figure out some way to support Assad and make it look otherwise. Mmmm ... it’s what he does best anyway.
Does ANY country in this world have a spine?
