I know you’re speaking in general, and you are quite correct. You’re speaking as an investor.

But it should be pointed out that it is company specific what you own when you buy stock. Remember the roaring 90s? A lot of those dot-com companies were worth less than the paper their shares were printed on.

The stock market is, like everything else, caveat emptor. Investing is hard work. It demands a lot of time and serious research. If you’re not doing that, you’re not investing; you’re speculating.

I've made a lot more money off silver than I did off Enron and WorldCom.

At least try to be truthful. Tell your story to GM stockholders. Didn’t seem to work out for them.

Most corporations these days have few assets and many have none when balanced against debt.

And in every failure, common stockholders are the last in the liquidation line. If they receive ten cents on a dollar, they are doing well. However, if you live up north, you can use you certificates for toilet paper or kindling.

Buy locally from a dealer or pawn shop. American Eagles sell about ten percent over spot, or you can buy rounds at just over spot. Estate sales are good as well.

There are many reputable sites that sell silver. All of them have materials that explain the market. Prices don’t vary much—silver is a commodity. Various coins sell over spot, but otherwise, silver is just silver.

“You cannot buy physical silver anywhere at less than 25$ an ounce. “

I bought some online last Friday at about 80 cents over spot. I got delivery today (free shipping) - the day silver dropped 3%, of course.

Try Kitco Metals Inc..
They can work with your storage company, work with a "Precious Metal I.R.A., chat over the internet or the phone, or ship it directly to you with an insured delivery.

It is probably a good time to buy. Prices may go lower but I really doubt below $15, if that low.

Precious metals are and act like commodities. They tend to be very cyclic.

I have bought and sold silver at Kitco, APMEX and Universal Bullion. They are three reputable dealers. Kitco.com has links to all sorts of news and analysis which may be helpful.

Right now you can buy a one ounce silver coin from Kitco for 20.34. You can buy a ten ounce bar for 195.40, the equivalent of 19.40 an ounce.

“Good buying opportunity because silver will go back up.”

When it was $26 per ounce I was hearing that it would go higher ....
