Unfortunately, in a lot of situations what you have is Anti-Semitic (or at the minimum, anti-Isreael) Jews co-opting Jewish voters. Check out Martin Indyk, who just left a supposedly pro-Israel position in the White Hut. This guy took $15 million from the Quataris (whom we all know hate Israel) for his efforts on their behalf. Indyk is Jewish.
Most religiously serious Jews see past the superficiality of Democrats. Problem is, that is a minority.
