UPDATE: Chief of Staff for Congressman Vance McAllister Arrested for DWI
KTVE-TV10 - Monroe, LA ^ | September 18, 2014 | Staff

Posted on 09/18/2014 2:05:26 PM PDT by abb

UPDATE:

Statement from Congressman McAllister in regards to Adam Terry’s DWI arrest:

“I’m disappointed in Adam. I do not condone his behavior, but I know he’s a good person and he’s worked hard for the people of Louisiana. Right now, he is at home with his family in the district and we want to make sure he gets the help he needs.”

UPDATE: According to the arrest affidavit, Trooper Nicholas Gee said he smelled a 'very strong' odor commonly associated with an alcoholic beverage emitting from Terry.

According to the affidavit, Terry told Trooper Gee he had not been drinking, but is reported to have performed poorly on the Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Trooper Gee reports in the affidavit that a styrofoam cup was found in the back seat with some type of alcoholic beverage in it. Also found was an empty pint of Jack Daniel's and a full one.

Once at the Richland Parish Detention Center, Terry refused to submit to a breath test.

Click the document above to read the complete affidavit.

LA Tech has a growing liberal contingent, but Lincoln Parish is still majority Republican in most contests.

RINO establishment was strongly for Riser, not McAllister.

A new twist to the story.

KTVE-TV10: Terry DWI Vehicle Apparently Registered to Davison Company

By Walter Abbott

Monroe’s KTVE-TV10 is reporting tonight that the 2008 Mercedes driven by Congressman Vance McAllister’s (LA 05) Chief of Staff Adam Terry when he was arrested last Friday for driving while intoxicated, was registered to a Ruston-based company: Fargo Transport, Inc., 2000 Farmerville Highway.

That address is the same as that of Davison Transportation Services, Inc., according to the TV report.

According to documents from the Louisiana Secretary of State, Fargo Transport is domiciled in Choudrant, LA, and has a Ruston mailing address.

The president of the company is listed as James Davison. Davison has been a financial supporter of McAllister’s, and has been present at McAllister public events.

See here the Louisiana Secretary of State registration for Fargo Transport, Inc.

See here the Affidavit of Probable Cause for Terry’s arrest.

Cantor and Jindal screwed Riser.

Unfortunately I don’t think Vitter the only true establishment conservative can get involved or wants to get involved.

Any number would be good, Holloway, Dr. Ralph Abraham, or Ed Tarpley, but I think the two top candidates will be Mayo (probably first) and then McAllister, who will win the runoff.

I don’t see how the owner of the vehicle is a factor in the arrest of Adam Terry.

Davison is a high profile millionaire in the area who is well known for buying and selling politicians. He invented “crony capitalism.” Governors, senators, congressmen, district attorneys, etc, etc, etc.

See my series in Lincoln Parish News Online on the V-Vehicle scam.

My first big scoop.

McAllister won’t be in the runoff. He was, is, and always will be a flake.

It was one of his staff members, no? You gonna convict him because his chief of staff drove drunk?

McAllister ain't on trial, nor has he been arrested. But he is up for re-election, and I will do what I can to see that the fraudulent bastard doesn't get near an elected office again.

If there was not a dead girl or a live boy involved I really don't see what the big deal is. They have drive thru liquor in Louisiana still, don't they?

Thanks. I like to watch the races around the country as I’m stuck with two ding-bat Senators (Patty Osama Mama Murray and Maria Can’t-do-well) and we only have a handful of Pubbie House members from WA State. Dave Reichert (R) is my rep, not totally conservative, but a lot better than the Dim Reps we have (including Jim Bagdad McDermott).

Yes, there is. In, fact, I'm headed to the store to buy a half gallon of gin. But I'm not going to drink and drive.

My friend from New Orleans said you could drive thru and get a Margarita in a to go cup. Now the driver was not supposed to be drinking. (Wink, Wink).

That was 20 years ago now come to think of it.

No, but I see Dan Claitor’s name was attached to the story. Claitor is a RINO left-winger running in an adjacent House district (the seat where Edwin Edwards is running again). I already stated if Claitor gets the runoff slot with Edwards, I’m endorsing Fast Eddie.

Mayo was in 3rd place in the polls last I checked. The Dems love McAllister, since he’s one of them.

Ultimately though the blacks will vote for Mayo, which is enough to finish first considering the high turnout expected for Landrieu too.

The LA GOP leadership was for Riser, RINOs were for McAllister (and the Democrats as well, namely Mayo and ex-Rep. Cleo Fields). Riser was the Conservative choice. I blasted some folks here who claimed (during the campaign) that McAllister was the “Conservative Tea Party” choice. I said he was a sleazy left-winger pretending to be.
