RINO establishment was strongly for Riser, not McAllister.
Cantor and Jindal screwed Riser.
Unfortunately I don’t think Vitter the only true establishment conservative can get involved or wants to get involved.
The LA GOP leadership was for Riser, RINOs were for McAllister (and the Democrats as well, namely Mayo and ex-Rep. Cleo Fields). Riser was the Conservative choice. I blasted some folks here who claimed (during the campaign) that McAllister was the “Conservative Tea Party” choice. I said he was a sleazy left-winger pretending to be.
