I couldn't even tell you where my social security card is under torture.

Same here.

When I applied for S.S. at 62, they wanted to see my DD214, I searched high and low and couldn't find it. Eventually I sent for a new one. If you're a vet and nearing S.S. age, I suggest you start looking for yours.

My husband says he doesn’t need to know where his DD214 is...that is what he has me for ;)

Veterans can obtain their DD214s via an online application process. I did it 3 years ago. Took 2 months to receive it.
