A Texas Department of Public Safety trooper said he was asked to leave a Grapevine Waffle House last week because he was carrying a gun, but the restaurant said it was all just a big misunderstanding.
When Jeff Evans walked into the Waffle House Tuesday morning, he was not dressed in a full uniform but rather a field uniform consisting of a polo shirt and tan pants. Evans also had his duty weapon on his hip and his badge on his belt, but according to a report by a local CBS affiliate, the restaurants manager only saw the gun, not the badge, and asked Evans to leave.

Thank You for that list.
Jared Jewelers advertise on Conservative Talk Radio. I wonder if they realize how hypocritical they are!
Texas has no legal open carry of handguns. If someone walked in wearing a pistol, he is seeing someone openly violating Texas laws. It’s probably reasonable to ask him to do that elsewhere.
Long guns there are different. Kinda nice for the cop to see how regular people are treated though.
ANd once the cop says “im a cop”, the manager sees his badge and says sorry, why did the cop go whine to the media? Must every hurt feeling be fully documented?
Let ‘em call a cop.
A gun in the hands of a bad guy is a situation for which most liberals are prepared. They wait for the dirtbag to reload and continue waiting for someone else to tackle him during the reload pause. Problem solved.
When a robber comes in with a gun—will they ask him to leave? When they call the police—what happens when they show up with guns? Will they ask them to leave. Maybe the police shouldn’t answer the call and let them fend for themselves.
This guy was not acting on behalf of the company. The company apologized. But by all means rant away.

“On the same day that Sonic’s(sic) restaurant followed in the footsteps of Jack in the Box and Chipotle asking its patrons not to bring firearms into the establishment, two individuals robbed one of the chains (Sonic) in Topeka, KS.”
I agree and I'd find it a bit difficult to hold the company, Waffle House to blame in this instance. It was a single employee who freaked out and did not think it through very well.
