I bet we'll have to dig extremely hard to find news on the aftermath of the two sides' oral arguments to the state Supreme Court on Oct. 3, 2014, especially if McDaniel wins.
That Mississippi Supreme Court Hearing should be televised LIVE !

If the RATS that crossed over to vote for Cochran in the runoff vote for Childers in the General, won’t that be proof positive that the law was broken? MS code that says you can’t vote for someone in the primary that you don’t intend to support in the general?

If I were True the Vote I would find each and every voter who went back and voted RAT (although technically Childers isn’t a rat) and publish the names. Set a precedent: you jack with elections, we jack with you right back.

I mean wouldn’t the rat votes for Cochran have to be taken off his runoff counts if they voted for Childers in the general?

ESPECIALLY if those rats voted in the Dem primary and then crossed over for the R runoff?

I agree.
But PROVING their intent AT THE TIME OF THEIR VOTE OF THE RUN-OFF,
versus them saying "I changed my mind due to information I found after I voted in the run-off ",
would be very difficult to do.

We all know the 'RATs that voted in that run-off, weren't intending on voting for "COCKROACH" in the General Election.
And the "ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS" knew it too, BEFORE they even started this dirty-politics scheme.
But all they cared about was the POWER they were losing, and NOT about what their constituents wanted.

DAMN THEM TO HELL !

It would be very difficult for a RAT voter to explain why they voted for Childers in the RAT primary, then voted for Cochran in the primary runoff, then voted again for Childers in the general.

It would thusly be difficult for precinct chairmen to explain how their black precincts did that. There obviously will be no voting for Cochran in the black districts in the general. Yet there will remain history of 10-15K votes on their books for Cochran in the runoff.

True the vote (I need to send them money right now) could make MS the poster child for vote fraud and help states who don’t have it enact Voter ID.

I was only talking about the "Rat voters who voted for COCKROACH in the "run-off", but who didn't vote at all in the 'Rat Primary.
It's only the 'RATs that voted in the 'RAT Primary, and then voted in the Republican Cochran/McDaniel run-off ~ that's in violation of the law.

I believe McDaniel's Team has already found 35,000 'RAT voters that signed the Democrat voter sign-in sheets for that last "run-off" ~ across the whole State of Mississippi.
That means the Cochran actually LOST VOTERS with the GOP between the Primary, the first "Run-off", and the second "Run-off" ~ IF you take out the 'RAT voters.

We have enacted a "Voter I.D. Law" and it was in effect for that "Run-off" Election.
What we DO NOT have and WE NEED is a "CLOSED PRIMARY ELECTION",
so that in order to vote, you have to have been a registered Party member of THAT PARTY ONLY, for a certain amount of days BEFORE the Election, to be able to vote in that election.

I didn’t realize you’re from MS. My condolences.. but know that you have millions of non-MS folks outraged right along with you.

I pray the MS Justices are independent and not bought off by Team Barbour. We’ll have a good idea where this is going by next Friday.. a new election after the general might be the best solution (outside of declaring McDaniel the outright winner of the runoff due to fraud) because the political machine won’t be sharing resources they enjoyed earlier. Only the staunch (TEA) will be motivated.

McDaniels’ taking the high road this whole time will be instrumental in swaying R Cochran voters to support him.

You orta' be living here in MS and listen to all the angry conservatives talking around the restaurants and and when they come for a visit, or at work.
They are REALLY ANGRY.
This won't be forgotten for a very long time.
When you piss off a conservative (that's voted party line since they first started earning a paycheck and paying taxes in the 70s) enough that they're willing to pull the lever for a 'RAT, just to send a dirty COCKROACH packin', you're really done something!

Good! I wish we Texans could get as angry about the GOPe. Makes no sense to be 100% behind Cruz AND 60% behind Cornyn.

May justice prevail for McDaniel.

I pray that it does.
But I have little faith in the "GOOD 'OLE BOY NETWORK" here in Mississippi.

We've got a lot, a whole lot ~ of house cleaning to do,
to rid the GOP of the corruption that IS the "ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS" in our Party.

Even if it comes to the worst, Childers seems to be a decent guy for a ‘rat, probably morally a step UP from Team Barbour.
