As the United States begins to deepen ties with moderate Syrian rebels to combat the extremist group ISIS, also known as the Islamic State, a key component of its coalition appears to have struck a non-aggression pact with the group.
According to Agence France-Presse, ISIS and a number of moderate and hard-line rebel groups have agreed not to fight each other so that they can focus on taking down the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad. Other sources say the signatories include a major U.S. ally linked to the Free Syrian Army.
The deal between ISIS and the moderate Syrian groups casts doubt over President Barack Obama's freshly announced strategy to arm and train the groups against ISIS.
The AFP report cited information from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a U.K.-based group monitoring the Syrian civil war, which said parties to the agreement "promise not to attack each other because they consider the principal enemy to be the Nussayri regime." The term Nussayri refers to the Alawite ethnic group that Assad and many of his supporters belong to. AFP said the agreement was signed in a suburb of the Syrian capital, where ISIS has a strong presence....

So unexpected.
ISIS Crisis solved. Fore!
Spray them all down with DDT.
I’d suggest napalm.
Bill Clinton was prescient...It is “Amateur Hour” in this WH...
Bwahahahahahahaaaaa. Kerry & Company are really street smart aren’t they?
Prediction... there will be one beheading each month...and there will be nothing Obama will be able to do..
“Fahid...we make deal. You give us weapons that America gives you...we won’t cut off your heads. Good deal for all, yes?”
So, the “moderate” Syrian rebels capture the various journalists, medical personnel, and relatively wealthy citizens of every stripe, then turns them over to ISIS, in exchange for a modest payment, and ISIS then ransoms the unfortunate prisoners back to governments, families, corporations or whatever, under threat of executing them if the ransom is not paid.
Looks like a real money-making scheme, all right. And apparently, they have the green light from the Current Regime now squatting in the White Hut, in that territory once known as “the United States of America”.
What could possibly go wrong?
I’m sure that this will be spun by the Obama sycophants as meaning the ISIS has gone over to the side of Moderate Islam.
Obama is using the war against ISIS as an excuse to finance and arm the Syrian terrorists whom he calls “Rebels”.
Ozero is planning another big speech to the adoring masses announcing his prescience and this victory.
“Vetted” seems to be the administration’s new buzzword...the new happy word that makes everything alright.
The problem is... it means absolutely nothing to a muslim. Zip, zilch, zero, nada.
Obama cannot be wrong - his decisions before must be right and he must stick to them to prove it - no matter how many lives it costs or how much more he destabilizes Syria and hands it on a platter to those he should be fighting!
Thanks for the chuckle. Allah Fubar!
Apparently Obama wants to overthrow Assad same time as attacking IS — Kirby said the Pentagon foresees training more than 5,000 Syrian rebels in Saudi Arabia over the coming year. —http://www.usnews.com/news/world/articles/2014/09/12/us-will-be-ramping-up-airstrikes-soon-in-iraq
Incredible.
Let's feed it here and kill it over there.
Was it Andy McCarty, yesterday, who hinted, to be "Moderate Islam" was to be the 'radical?'
People who don't study history in any depth, for example, are likely to overlook the history of fascism, just in Germany, where there was more than just the Nazis and Adolf Hitler, indeed, more than just Hitler vying for Top Dog among the Nazis, at various times.
Imagine, however, singling out Hitler and his bully-boys as deranged and in need of excising, and further, claiming the "Nazis weren't fascists," or that "fascists weren't German?"
This is what happens when, after establishing political correctness as an ideology, a ruling class beset by this false misrepresentation of reality, try to apply strategy.
It doesn't work.
Among the highest and time-tested rule of warfare is the principle of adopting strategy to fit the battlefield, and adopting it quickly when conditions inevitably change in the course of battle.
A political party's platform or the "Best Practices" adopted by a committee of sociologists in a Quality Circle are unlikely to be of much use on a battlefield.
Its tempting to think of it that way but I no longer think it is a case of Amateur Hour. What’s going on is far worse than that could ever be. There’s a sinister element to it all.
