Doug has been out there fighting for his brother in the campaign for re-election this year.

He’s played the attack role going after his brothers’s adversaries while Rob did the mayor stuff, rehab and softer things.

Doug Ford has been the manager of the election campaign.

It may be worth pinging the list to Freep the 680 poll on whether or not one would support Doug.

http://www.680news.com/

Right now, he is at 38.23%, which is about 10 points higher than Rob had been, and in a three-way race potentially sufficient.

And another Doug Ford poll here @ #27 (Rob Ford's brother)

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. (multiple votes using multiple internetz devices are allowed!) And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

Political dynasties and nepotism inevitably represent and invite the corrupt version of democracy.

Unfortunately, too often.

Justin Turd-owe is a case in point. The arrogant, leftist, somewhat photogenic progeny of former PM Pierre Turd-owe. Pierre was almost barely tolerable (IMO) but ONLY because he had the intelligence to back up the arrogant swagger. (I had respect for his intellect, if nothing else!) Unfortunately Bebe Turd-owe inherited all the less attractive qualities of both ma and pa. (Ma was a ditzy flower child in the 1960s, a sometime ‘pal’ of Mick Jagger.)

I feel sorry for Rob. He was an ordinary, well meaning and simple guy tasked with a job way above his depth. That's why "Rob nation" supported him, seeing him as one of their own.

Doug Ford is something else. Not sure Rob nation will support him. He is regular political scum in XL package.

Get well, Rob and good riddance with Doug.

Hi Springman! Nice to see you. :-)

Is Doug a drunk like his brother?

I have to question your question.
Rob Ford has done more for the city of Toronto than the last 4 mayors behind him combined.

Anecdotally, Churchill was a drunk, and Hitler didn't drink.
