In Colorado, embattled Democratic senator Mark Udall wont debate Cory Gardner on any of the Denver television stations. Too busy, he says.
...
At least he didnt claim either of the executed American journalists would agree with him.

Same reason Nixon should not have debated Kennedy on TV.
Looks.
Every Udall ad I’ve seen in the several months has been his opponent is a woman hating mysogonist who opposes all abortion. He has no positives to stand on, he was the passing vote on Obamacare, he voted for the stimulus, he rubber stamped the entire Obama agenda, he opposed fracking in the state. It would be a very short odd debate if every single answer, is “my opponent hates women.”
does Udall have a big lead?
It only makes sense if you have a good-sized lead
Udall supports Obamacare, gun grabbing, new energy taxes, etc.
A debate would further expose his voting history and his out of touch opinions.
Sort of like asking why crocs don’t chase things on the open terrain. Their forte is hide and spring, darting away before receiving damage. Libs do the same thing, hide behind various facades, lying about everything, looking like a regular human beings. Suddenly, they unmask and attack liberty and freedom, until the next election cycle, when they submerge and go into pretend mode once again.
“does Udall have a big lead?”
The latest Rasmussen Polling has Udall 44% and Gardner 42%. So to answer your question, NO! At theses numbers, Udall may very well loose, so he’s not going to go out and give Gardner any opportunity to sink him.
Same as the Moslems.
