U.S. Army sociologists are worried that a lack of black officers leading its combat troops will have detrimental effect on minorities and lead to fewer black officers in top leadership posts.

I think most people agree that people should be judged by their performance and not by their skin color.
Can you imagine what that does for Active Duty troops to hear this rubbish?

When I was stationed in Fort Gordon, GA my platoon SGT, 1SG, Company CO, Battalion CO, Battalion CSM, Regimental CSM and Regimental CO were all black.
Most every EO rep in EVERY unit I’ve been in has been black. If not black they were either Asian or a female.
