LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A tweet from the official Twitter account of Indiana University Southeast states that an armed gunman is on-campus. The tweet stated as follows:
"IU Southeast Emergency! An armed person is on campus. Go into nearest room and lock door. Follow instructions from authorities."
The claim could not be verified by any official sources. Stay with WDRB News. We'll have more information as soon as it becomes available.

Not where I thought it would be. To me that's South, not Southeast. I thought Indiana University Southeast would be near Cincinnati.
And, by the way, I lived in south central Indiana (Seymour) for my grade school and high school years - NEW ALBANY IS NOT SOUTHEASTERN INDIANA.

NEW ALBANY IS NOT SOUTHEASTERN INDIANA.
But IU Southeast was begun about 60 years ago in Jeffersonville — about 10 miles to the east. So it used to be more southeastern.
