It will never happen in my lifetime, but just once, dear Lord, I’d like to see something like: “[fill in the college] Emergency! An armed person is on campus. Lock and load. Follow instructions from authorities.”

I know some who were scared the campus police were armed. said “guns and violence have no place on a college campus where we should talk about peaceful ways to resolve things.”
That was on the anniversary of VT, which I denied happened as VT was a Gun-free zone. They weren’t amused.
