In a televised address on how to address the Islamic State this evening, President Barack Obama declared the organization variously known as ISIS or ISIL to be “not Islamic.”
In making this preposterous claim, Obama joins his two immediate predecessors in pronouncing on what is not Islamic. Bill Clinton called the Taliban treatment of women and children “a terrible perversion of Islam.” George W. Bush deemed that 9/11 and other acts of violence against innocents “violate the fundamental tenets of the Islamic faith.”
None of the three has any basis for such assertions. To state the obvious: As non-Muslims and politicians, rather than Muslims and scholars, they are in no position to declare what is Islamic and what is not. As Bernard Lewis, a leading American authority of Islam, notes: “It is surely presumptuous for those who are not Muslims to say what is orthodox and what is heretical in Islam.”

He began with Poland, and then repeated the statement like a litany, naming at least two other nations.
At the mention of Poland I was thinking “he can’t be serious...I didn’t hear right”. When he mentioned the others I was convinced that he was from another planet.
That is an excellent point, and leads to other conjecture. I do believe that in his mind he remains true to his Islamic heritage. The Muslims he has fought, and is fighting have to be un-Islamic in order for him to keep his self-view intact. He has fought to establish a new caliphate, and almost succeeded. It still may happen. However, his fight against ISIL makes sense if in his mind, HE IS THE LEGITIMATE CALIPH. Fighting against his vision of the middle east, a caliphate of the Hamas/Hezbollah/MB variety, is fighting against Islam's best interests, to him.
The precedent was set when Obama attended a church that had "Christian" in its name, but was really a communist front with black muslim ties.
I know what you are saying, but that is not a good analogy. A Christian can point at his Bible and say that the KKK are not Christians for reasons A, B, and C (e.g., 'love thy neighbor as thyself', 'we are all made in the image of God', etc).
On the contrary the ISIL member can point at his koran and say he is just following his book, and the disputing muslim could not rebut this claim.
Is it not also heretical to deem who is an innocent and who is not?
The statement that no religion condones the killing of innocents is a canard in this case.
Do Muslims consider anybody living in the West as innocent?
I believe they have stated otherwise,and Obama knows it and spews his bilge because he is a Muslim sympathizer

Last night he wanted to destroy ISIS, tomorrow he may not. Obama confuses rhetoric with leadership and accomplishment.

Zero has lied about his own faith and religion, claiming it to be Christian to George Steppenaloverus, immediately after Barry supposedly misspoke, saying "my Muslim faith."
The salient question about Barry's lie that ISIS is not Islamic is, "Why did Obama say this obvious falsehood?" Ohamed would have us believe that he himself, with high-minded ideals, holds forth that Islam is a "peaceful religion," for he can point to hundreds of millions of Muslims that have never been accused of any act of violence. But can that fact prove Islam is a peaceful religion in light of other hundreds of Muslim millions that have obviously supported if no taken up a purely violent if not evil path with their religious jihad?
No, a numerous, apparently peaceful bunch of Muslims--that by the way, only extremely rarely gets away with (lives) calling upon Islamists to stop their violent ways--does not disprove that evil, murderous, raping Islamists do not represent Islam. Their Qu'ran so demonstrably shows the violent ones to be correctly and faithfully exercising their affirmed scriptures.
What can account for this supporting statement of Ohamed, that the "vast majority of ISIS victims are Muslim?" Trivial! ISIS types want to eradicate from their caliphate Muslims that merely want to COEXIST with other Muslims and live out their lives on their petrodollar trust funds. And guess which version of Muslim thinking generally "wins" the argument by wiping out the COEXISTers! You got it, the violent ones.
Now why would Obambi lie? Taqqiyyah is their affirmed way of representing themselves via lying to non-Muslims. Taqqiyyah gives them a chance to resupply and reload before they come back in full force. As with Communists trying to win elections, lying gives Muslims better "optics" than telling the truth. When they've resupplied and reloaded by passively getting through security, they'll rush upon the innocent, disarmed sheep in a plane with the hidden box-cutters and finish their mission of killing thousands with their hijacked missiles.
Similarly, though Barry Soetoro exercises sins (e.g., homosexuality) contrary to the tenets of his boyhood religion, Islam, other apparently non-violent, "Westernized" Muslims such as Huma Abedin, Hillary's Muslim Sisterhood adviser, has been allowed to steep herself in ways contrary to their religion for the greater good of ultimately destroying the non-Muslim. Muslims wink at such apparent sins and don't send out assassins equipped with fatwas because their sins among the enemy are seen as sly assimilations with another culture to allow Islam to get thereby the upper hand for later, ultimate victory.
There's only one way to resolve all these things, and Zero was clear years ago in one of his books about it. “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” Barry traitorously says and does these things to help Islam move toward world domination, taken down the US in the process.

Good luck with that. A “decent” muslim is a “moderate” muslim, whom all other muslims are required by the Prophet to kill. A muslim is a muslim, like a rose is a rose by any other name. There is only one kind of muslim - all others are either liars, ignorant of Islam, or silently support the jihadis.
