This poll has been widely reported by the national press, but here is the article done by the news organization that commissioned it. Some interesting details emerge. First, this is a poll of adults, not registered voters, and not likely voters. In other words, a garbage poll.

Second, voters indicated that they were most concerned about the economy, Obamacare, and Immigration issues where the Democrats fare worst among likely voters. Much of the rest of the story looks like it was written by a member of the Osman campaign. So, take it all for what it's worth: MSM opinion journalism working to fool the people and get the result they want.

A poll of “adults”?

In any event, that 59 percent of GOP support for Roberts will probably increase as more time passes from the primary, though Roberts will have to get on the air immediately with ads to shore up this support...if he doesn’t, he’s going to put himself in a very unstable position.

The GOPe was stupid to let Roberts run again, instead of new conservative blood

555 likely voters. Roberts has been polling consistently — the shift has been from the Democrat to the Democrat-in-independent’s clothing. The Libertarian is polling 6% and that never really happens anywhere but Alaska. Sounds like Kansas voters really are unhappy with Roberts, but are they unhappy enough to actually elect a Democrat? We’ll see.

Nate Silver says Roberts has a 54% chance of winning.

Not great odds, but better than even.

Roberts is going to lose.

The GOP will NOT win the Senate and they will lose House seats.

Roberts should run ads in the inner cities encouraging democrats to stay loyal and vote for Chad Taylor.

That article fails to mention Greg Orman is being sued for 30 million dollars over a bankrupt business he was part owner of. Figures the local liberal medias would leave that out. Oh, and thanks for the clarification on the poll results.
