There are some emotional types but I doubt there are enough of them to make a difference. What will happen though is that many conservatives in areas run by RINOS will stay home. That has a greater impact than a few conservatives actually voting for dems. The end result is the same and the Republican establishment should take note
The question is what is the Democrat plan if they retain the Senate. We have been through two election cycles where we grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory as regards the U.S. Senate. Here we go again. No sort of rationalization can overcome the irrational decisions that conservatives are making yet again.
You realize that nothing really changes after November, right? Forgot the 2/3 nonsense above, the real "magic number" is 60 - the number of votes needed for cloture - and that's out of reach unless the GOP wins every competitive race, and a few that aren't competitive.
Anything less than 60, and Reid still blocks every single bill the House to the Senate. The only difference is he'll have to actively block it rather than just table it without comment.
Yes, but the stay at homes are being encouraged by the emotional pleas that voting for Democrats is fine as there is no difference between the two. Irrational behavior begating more irrational behavior.
You can’t answer it. And nobody else can either because the GOP
has not given Americans a reason to vote for them in 2014, other than
Democrats bad.
That may be enough for you and others like you.
But it is not enough.
What happened to running on an agenda, a plan. A plan to fix America?
The GOP has offered nothing. And to sweep elections you have got to
have independents, as well. Running on Democrats Bad will not be enough
to sweep the elections in 2014.
I wonder why Conservatives would want to send THIS “message” to the GOPe:
The Liberals WON!
That means that this state/district is LEFT-OF-CENTER.
And THAT means that, next election, the GOP should NOT nominate anyone who would appeal to the Tea Party...
This election is a huge stupidity test we shall see how well the MSM has done it’s job to keep democrats in power.
Please...do not misunderstand me. I said vote against any and all Democrats!!! And...i never said...just the Republicans should do that. I am urging all political stripes of folks, Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Conservatives, Blue Dog Democrats, Libertarians, etc., etc., to vote against all Democrats. IMHO.....the first priority of our nation and people is to totally destroy Obama and his Obamabot, anti-American, Democrats....period!!!
I feel very strongly about agenda....too, but.....first things first...get rid of the major enemies of the state (the USA), Democrats, the “Destructors” of the American nation!!! However....I strongly agree with your position on agenda, but...just remember....if the Pubbies were ever to pickup 55 or more Senate seats, you probably can say goodbye to, at least, Mitch McConnell!!! There are many capable conservative Republican Senators that could easily handle the job of Senate Leader!!! And....to boot, failure , criminal “Harry Reid” must go!!!
The MSM is only successful because we are not a unified force of political power!!! You gotta have the right, and most powerful race car to win the race...and for us Conservatives....that is called unity of purpose!!!
I don’t disagree with the points you made.
However, Democrats Bad will not be enough to get that sweeping election
you are looking for.
You have to tell the American people what you will do with that power, if
given that power, other than Democrats bad. And get rid of Harry Reid.
Otherwise, I think you are going to be disappointed, that the sweep will
not be as grand as you wish.
If so, you will end up with a slim majority, that will end up like the power
sharing agreement that Trent Lott and Tom Dasche worked out.
What is preventing the GOP from offering their vision for America?
even with a slim majority the Dems will win, a few GOPers will always be on their side
You mean the 14 Gangsters?
You can bet if the GOP takes the senate, those gangsters will rear their
ugly heads again.
Yeppers
Nothing will get done except those “deals” where the GOPe surrenders to 99% of what the left demands.
“It is the best we can do” we will be assured
Or removing from office if it comes to that. I had the impeachment conversation with a liberal friend over the weekend and told her, "Don't worry, every Republican who voted for 0bamacare will back him." I may have neglected to remind her that it wasn't bipartisan.
If you can show me how championing conservative principles prevents the rise of political power among conservatives, I’ll buy that.
Supporting turncoats does not advance conservatism. Rather, it simply enables those who would do it harm. Putting party before country, especially a party which has shown it will do anything to fight is own base, simply exacerbates the problem.
They can come to us. And if they want my vote, they can earn it.
I certainly hope that the Conservatives at least show the decency to get out and support the Republican, whoever they might be against the Hillary or other Demon onslaught come 2016. OK, the candidate may not be a TEA party member, OK, the candidate may not be a staunch Conservative, but the candidate WILL NOT be Hillary Clinton or whomever the Rats can trot out. Staying home in 2012 gave us four more of Obozo, that can’t happen again.
LOL! You don’t think he “deserves” another 4 to complete the “fundamental transformation”? :>}
Simple answer to your question: The GOP Establishment (Boehner & McConnell & the RINOs like McCain, Graham, etc.).
True getting out the vote is a must only 40% of the people voted in the last election maybe now they understand what happens when they wait for other people to get the job done.
