A federal study to determine why 75 percent of lesbian women are obese and gay men are not has totaled nearly $3 million.

They have determined that gay and bisexual males had a “greater desire for toned muscles” than straight men, lesbians have lower “athletic self-esteem” that may lead to higher rates of obesity, and that lesbians are more likely to see themselves at a healthy weight even though they are not, the Free Beacon reported.

Their research also found that LGBT individuals exercise less than heterosexuals, and that sexual minorities are 46 to 76 percent less likely to be on an athletic team.

This $3 Million is money well spent indeed.

Many of the Daughters of Bilitis ride motorcycles and we simply must have more data on the dangers to obese Saphhics in traffic.

For example, perhaps the Federal Government could develop a "Michelin Man" suit for lesbo-bikers. It would inflate upon impact, and should not impair their highly developed fashion sense.

Most of the lesbian clients I had as a workers comp case manager were abused, but not by men-they were seduced at or near puberty by a female relative or family friend who was in their late teens or older. Since that was their first sexual experience, they preferred women when they came of age for sexual partners. Sex with minors is definitely child abuse, no matter the gender of the seducer or the victim.
