This is exactly how this will play out:
The shutdown WILL occur on Oct 1. No noticeable effects for a while.
On or about October 15, Obama will pull the plug on the EBT cards and blame Republicans.
From October 15 - November 1st, increasing levels of riots will occur in major cities. The entire time, Obama and the Propaganda Corps (ABC NBC CBS CNN NYT) will blame it on the shutdown and on Republicans.
November 1st through 7th, Obama will demand Democrats get to the polls to restore government services.
Democrats will turn out in numbers never seen before on an off year.
Republicans will not take the Senate and will lose the House. Obama will keep importing Latinos at a breakneck speed from then on. There will be no threat of impeachment or limitation any more.
The coup will be complete.
Some people remark that the States administer EBT. True, but in 2013, during the government shutdown, the Feds were about ready to pull the plug on the states. Please note this letter:

I am convinced that the U.S. government is no longer functioning. Obama can do whatever he wishes and no one, no court, no state, will try to stop him. He could simply cancel the elections, dissolve the House and Senate, the media would cheer him on, and while a few million of us would scream, we would do nothing more. This nation is paralyzed with political correctness, cowardice, and dependence. If we were anywhere near being the Americans our fathers and grandfathers were Obastard and his cronies would never have even dared to seek office.

Your story, believe it or not, helped jump start Obama’s political career. The Vietnam war funding that was cut off by Congress in the Middle-late 70’s was used to finance a huge welfare program for inner cities. Poor, single inner city women were getting paid welfare for giving birth, and they sure turned out babies big time. These babies came into their late teens in the middle 90’s and produced a huge inner city crime wave during the mid-90’s. It was in Chicago during this time that a clean community organizer with no negro accent caught the attention of Dem politicians. The rest is history that’s still unfolding.
