I’ve worked for a private residential sub-acute care
facility for over sixteen years. We treat SED (Severely
Emotionally Disturbed) at-risk teens and pre-teens.
Some of these boys have victims of some of the worst
kind of adult behavior imaginable. At times some of
these kids even become the kind of people that victimized
them. I would love to meet just one of these perverted
advocates face to face.

Once a society accepts "consent" as the only moral question regarding sexual activity, then nobody is exempt except infants who haven't yet learned to speak.
The present legal penalties are too high and reinforce the misinformation and prejudice.

That cartoon is confusing. Why would a pair of Tory David Swish “Marriage” Cameron devotees be tossing the bridal bouquet to a couple of Labor Child Molestors? Do the Tories also support child molesting as Labor is likely enthusiastic for “gay marriage?” Maybe we should ask Mitt Romney, the oracle of GOP “moderation” if both of these trends will emerge in the Wall Street and K Street dominated $$$$ GOP? Will we have to lock the farm animals in the barn during campaign season to protect their innocence?
I just hope that people here remember this was a story from the 1970’s in the UK. Not now.
If there is any silver lining, its been the utter disgust in the UK when this story broke this year. Although its been an open secret for years.
Newsflash: It is already happening here. 15 years ago I had a ninth grade student whose parents decided she was getting a bit to westernized. They "married her off" to a 30 year old man in NYC. Her crime she wanted to wear jeans under her burka to school.
Took three of my co-workers to hold me back from kicking her father's muzzie @$$.
