There are always those who want to disarm us, take away our right to express ourselves, take away our right to be secure in our persons and our homes, etc.

The problem is that these days there isn't any downside for them to do this. If one of their perverse initiatives fails, they haven't lost anything. They simply try again. There has to be some way to make this sort of initiative perilous for those attempting it.

I wonder if the words “cracker” (in the various urban spellings), “whitey”, “honkey”, etc. will be tracked?

“The federal government is spending nearly $1 million to...”

“The National Science Foundation is financing the creation of a...”

THIS is what I mean when I post about eliminating the Departments created by the Left within the Executive Branch. This needs to be defunded by Congress NOW. Defunding this, and so many other Leftist created Departments that are heavily unionized employers/gravy trains of Liberal/Leftist voters.

Wasting taxpayer dollars feeding the Leftist machine. It’s what those departments are all about.

Definitely "extra-constitutional," and it doesn't send chills down my spine; instead it gets my Eire up.

It could be argued "government" has a compelling state interest in monitoring web traffic for criminal behavior but "hate" is not a crime, merely a motive and a hard sell as an add-on to felonies and requiring additional jail time and fines.

This kind of decision falls squarely into the frame of reference - a irreconcilably flawed frame of reference - your Old New Left cultural marxist beings to the policy decision-making table. It descends from the idea that government arbitrates society, an upside-down notion dragging a lot of well-meaning but silly people along with their hard-Left false shepherds.

This is what happens when people who equate "celebrity" with "credibility" elect certain people to office.

Right out of your Bible, "justice comes out perverted."

A huge portion of the left is funded by taxpayers. Look how many leftist lawsuits are simply “settled” or the government loses on purpose (”Pigford”).

Nothing Stands against the Party (Uniparty or otherwise)

"Schild und Schwert der Partei" (Shield and Sword of the Party)

Did you know East Germany had Right Wing Parties and Christan Parties too?

Yes, East Germany had the Christian Democratic Union, completely unfetter, the only requirement was that they were under the umbrella of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany.....

Next? FR was among the first. Ever since the analog age almost.

This June, 2001 article says "The group [FR] has also expressed a level of vitriol toward Democrats, particularly the Clintons (including occasional death threats), that has normally reasonable voices on the left wishing they could shut the group up. Legal scholar Cass Sunstein uses the Free Republic as an example [in] his new book, 'Republic.com'."

(Sunstein was appointed to a key position in his dear friend Obama's administration.)

Here's how President Obama's head of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs and author of "Repulblic.com," Cass Sunstein, describes FreeRepublic.com as "group polarization," where people segregate themselves so effectively online with other like-minded thinkers that they create an echo chamber where the group's worst and most malevolent opinions get reinforced and strengthened. "We might want to consider," Sunstein startlingly told the Times recently, "the possibility of ways of requiring or encouraging sites to link to opposing viewpoints."

He recently left the Administration.

We match all tweets against a set of keywords to exclude tweets unlikely to contain political discussion, and extract all memes (@mentions, #hash_tags, and urls).

Should be pretty easy to simply flood it. Put a variety of "@mentions, #hash_tags, and urls" in each one.

Just another front for the commies.

...

Nuschke gradually pushed out those CDU members who weren't willing to do the Communists' bidding. This culminated at the Sixth Party Congress in 1952, at which it formally transformed itself into a loyal partner of the Communists. At this gathering, it officially embraced socialism which affirmed the line of "Christian realism" and declared itself "a Socialist party without any limitations."

Even the stinking Salon hippies are flibbergibbeted by Sunstein’s Goebbels trial balloon:

I would certainly not like anyone in our marvelous federal government to get the idea that I dislike their bulk, expense, corruption, practices, and policies. Me? Heavens no! Why, I'm just one happy consumer of politics as they are today!

Hey Cass, if you're reading this, bite me.

They are tracking social media disinformation because tracking mainstream media disinformation would crash the servers. Far too much to keep track of there.

“False and misleading ideas”? “Subversive propaganda”? Who’s going to define those terms? What’s “misleading”? What’s “subversive”? Subversive to who? Or what?”

Comrades, the Communist Party is Truth and everything else is subversive.
