The White House press pool, with President Obama in Martha’s Vineyard to cover his every movement, seems to have had enough of their 16-day assignment.
After being snubbed by the president who didn’t show his face to reporters on Friday despite taking a long hike and attending fireworks, the press “pool” on Saturday turned to mockery as Obama hit the links -- again.
“Subject: Travel pool report #2 - golf o'clock,” said the second press pool report issued Saturday morning. “Those of you expecting more golf...will not be disappointed. After an uneventful drive, we have arrived at the Farm Neck golf club at 10:47 a.m. and POTUS is again hitting the links,” it added.
After today's round of golf, Obama will have played 192 times as president.

I’m shocked to hear this talk in the media criticizing Obama being on vacation. He’s their guy. He is not supposed to be criticized for any reason by the liberal media. What’s up with this?????

It’s amazing how many despots have turned their ire on their own bodyguard only to have them do him in. Stalin was killed by Beria. Caligula was killed by two of his Pretorian guard; one he’d mocked and one whose wife he raped. The press has been Obama’s guard much more so than the Secret Service. A recent Howard Kurtz story about the press boredom with Obama did say exactly that: the MSM is now just waiting on Hillary. Like, we can just bypass any silly, antiquated notion of an election.
