With a world of sandy desert at his disposal, Mohammed would have had no need of litter boxes or cleaning them. And a cat would have been cleaner than a dog (which does not bury its waste). Maybe that is how he came up with the notion that dogs are dirty.
I think it’s because Mo was a bandit, and dogs would alert his victims that he was coming.
