James Inhofe (R-OK), the highest-ranking Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, told Oklahoma City FOX affiliate KOKH 25 that because of the threat of groups like ISIS “we're in the most dangerous position we've ever been in as a nation.” “[ISIS], they're crazy out there, and they're rapidly developing a method of blowing up a major US city” he said.

I’m with you. These guys are hands on and like to get up close and personal. If they could blow up a city they prolly would already have blown Bagdad up.
So, let me get this straight...the Clown Prince nobama administration policy for this includes keeping the US borders open, purposefully bringing moozlums into America, supporting moozlums all over the world by building mosques and so forth. Great policies from a great administration, no? Will there eventually be “heads on pikes” because of this inanity? Enquiring minds want to know.
And then the obama will declare martial law? What then?
Obama has been ginning up this talk about somebody exploding a nuke in one of our cities for awhile now. I have no doubt he is doing everything possible to arrange for a situation where he can declare martial law.
My argument is now and has been that if terrorists wanted to strike us they could have waltzed across the Mexican border anytime in the last 13 years and done whatever they wanted. So why haven’t they?
I think it’s just because even simple things are hard to execute. And our guys are probably stopping many attacks without our knowledge.
I think the daily polls showing democrat standing for the 2014 elections get a lot more interest from obama and Jarrett than his daily national intelligence briefing
I can imagine him doodling with his pen and worrying about his next fundraiser and tee time during such briefings
I think most of the terror alarmism is coming from Congress, not the WH
The democrat party is in lock-step that the overriding national security issue is them staying in power
and to exploit whatever issue to pander to their base and make sure that happens
an over-the-horizon threat of a major terrorist attack can be dealt with if and when it happens- and blamed on the GOP
I agree with the execution theory. The press tries to give these 1st grade dropouts some kind of image of being supermen who can rival the super power countries when in effect they are very low tech. They don’t have the reach or capabilities that they are touted to have.
911 as terrible as it was would never have happened if we had just had simple reinforced doors on the cockpits of the airliners they hijacked. I’m just saying they didn’t have a nuke to blow up those buildings or they would have done it. Suitcase nukes are not just floating around on every street corner for sale.
If we would secure our southern border and stop the inflow of muslims into America our problems with these subhumans would be mostly over.
Yep. They’ve had *years* to get things together and ready, people in position, manipulate the compliant media scumbags and when they get their “go orders”, it’s going to be very, very, very ugly. I remember that for 90+ days after 9-11-01, I carried a loaded, scoped AR-10, with 5 extra 20-round mags, in my Jeep’s backseat, as did many of my friends and family. I’m getting ‘that feeling’ again... brrrrr.
If you want to know what will happen short term, ask the Saudis. We’ve been their puppets since the early 70’s and the oil embargo. Bammy needs to do something to get back in their good graces if HGAS. Maybe Jarrett knows but hasn’t let the clown prince in on it yet.

It seems like our Dem Overlords are about to make a case to go back to Iraq. They say our national interests are at stake? Which national interests are those? A photographer who was captured two years ago? It simply doesn’t make sense.
An attack on the US would be the worst thing for Obama, no amount of prepping is going to change that. An attack on the US would be the worst thing for ISIL. Such an attack would bring down the full wrath of the US. Remember B52s over Afghanistan in 2001? They don’t want that.
So..what is the reason for all of this drama? That is the real question. What are they trying to “prep” us for? Nothing good.
I wonder if an attack in late October would cause a rally round the flag that would shift some ballots in early November.

Not to direct the thread in a different direction, but the whole Pearl Harbor thing is out of context.
In the context of the day, the only way to attack our fleet was to take out Pearl Harbor. There wasn’t anywhere else you could attack.
Consider where you would attack today to wipe out our Military leadership. You would think, “The Pentagon.” Well, in’41 if you wanted to hit the American Fleet—you thought Pearl Harbor.
In the context of the day, any Ensign in the Navy would know that Pearl was a target. Our intelligence failed in not knowing where their fleet was.
From a strategic point of view, the Red state and Blue state territory differences are notable.
If I wanted to take over, I'd want to control food, water and energy and all major ports on our oceans, the Mississippi and the Great Lakes.
With that thought in mind, note the significance of the states and areas are controlled by the demonrats.
