North Korea Just Moved Some Of Its Most Advanced Weaponry To The Chinese Border In A Sign Of Rising Tensions

Jeremy Bender
August 20, 2014

In a sign of the continuing decline in relations between North Korea and China, Pyongyang moved a number of tanks and armored vehicles away from South Korea to the Chinese border, according to The Chosun Ilbo, citing an anonymous source.

North Korea has reportedly deployed 80 tanks to Ryanggang Province, directly across the border from China. The tanks were reinforced with armored infantry units, multiple rocket launchers, and a sharpshooter brigade.

According to Chosun Ilbo, this is the first time that such military units had been deployed in Ryanggang Province. Ryanggang was the birthplace of former North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il, and is subsequently revered by the North Koreans. The province is also strategically located as it shields North Korea's eastern port cities.

even that tidbit is doubtful since everything about KJI was a lie invented by the KGB

I think people have the wrong idea. These troops are more likely there to help catch those fleeing NK into China.

An acquaintance of mine lives near the NK/China border. That acquaintance has told me that the border between the two countries is pretty much deserted. No activity whatsoever, ever, unlike our border with Mexico.

Great time to start a world war - the United States in down for the count. The United States President has decided he’s an alderman in a St. Louis suburb...

What a great opportunity for someone who wants to start a fight between the two.

China ran interference for North Korea when it was developing nuclear weapons. At the time I was thinking, “China, how long does it take for North Korea to point those weapons at you? What the hell are you thinking?”

Now this.

Well China, welcome to that special hell you helped create.

I have also wondered just how much technical help North Korea got from China, with China thinking it’s proxy could attack the U. S. without China being responsible.

Well, that sure worked out swell didn’t it.

Turns out the Chinese aren’t quite as brilliant as folks thought.

This is one five year plan that could take a big bite out of China. Not such sage long term planning after all.

They pretend to revere it so they don't get executed.

I was on the Chinese side of that border last year. The region is sparsely populated, but there is activity.

* North Korea Just Moved Some Of Its Most Advanced Weaponry To The Chinese Border......to be scrapped. *

Some 1951 Chevy staff cars left over from the Korean war with missiles duct taped to the sides.

Vito Scotti in a surplus one man Japanese sub coming full force towards the coast of China.

A WWI biplane that used to belong to Rickenbacker.

400 North Korean soldiers with T-shirts pulled over their heads screaming about TP with sharpened broom handles wondering aloud if someone is threatening them.

It's quite a military force they have!

"Dog biting the hand that feeds it."

I remember reading a few years back that China had shipped a whole train load of food to NK...they were refusing to return the train, LOL.

Here, I found it:
