Autopsy results enough to charge officer, Brown family attorney says

Ferguson, Missouri (CNN) -- An independent autopsy into the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, provides "ample" evidence to support the arrest of the police officer who shot him, family attorney Daryl Parks said Monday at a news conference.

Parks was particularly concerned about gunshots that medical examiners hired by the family indicate came from behind and above.

"Why would he be shot in the very top of his head, a 6-foot-4 man?" Parks asked. "Makes no sense."

The autopsy could support witnesses' suggestions that Brown was holding his hands up in the air, said Shawn Purcell, who assisted in the autopsy. But other scenarios are possible, said Dr. Michael Baden, who supervised the inquiry.

Unless the LEO is 10' tall, the only way that can happen is for the person who got shot to have his head down.

Unless lying down, it is an almost impossible angle from the back. From the front, it could be indicative of a charge, or of kneeling with head down, or prostrate. Taken in conjuction with the other entry wounds, I think we can rule out laying down. Angle of bullet paths should also clear up whether he was standing or not.

okay, help me out: the county did an autopsy, then baden did an autopsy (who hired him?) and then the DOJ is going to have someone else do one?

are there differences between the 1st and 2nd autopsy or do we know?

Could have happened during the struggle in the car.

IIRC the roof of the car had a bullet hole.

Are they implying that the Cop climbed on top of Brown’s Head and shot him? Unless the Cop was Eight Feet Tall, it makes perfect sense. Brown, bent forward, charging towards the Cop. Might was well have been an NFL Linebacker.

Now he’s a 6”4” Man? I thought he was just a little Kid.

Any mention of the fact that Brown was smoking Weed?

All the other shots were to the front. Saint Michael was falling forward when the last shot caught him.

A Glock can fire four rounds per second. The cop was in panic mode with a bull charging right at him. When he started shooting Saint Michael was upright and facing him. When he stopped shooting Saint Michael was getting ready to bite the dust, but he wasn't quite there yet.

"Less than a second worth of shots using a well tuned semi auto 9mm. IF a wound was in the top of the head, it could easily be the last of a string of shots and hit as the subject/thug is going down."

That's my theory - that the head shot was the last shot as Brown was going down, falling towards the officer. The arm shots probably did not stop Brown.

The value of the diagram is to show no wounds in the back. Beyond that it is only a sketch lacking detail.

The direction of the bullet path would make a big difference on the arm wounds. The forearm wound would make sense with having arms in the air but the one just above the elbow wouldn’t. It all depends on the angles involved; seems like those angles should paint a pretty clear picture. Do you know if there’s any drawing showing the direction of the arm wounds?

But then how do you afford the monthly payment on an Escalade if you are supposedly in poverty?

You don't. That's why we're having second subprime collapse, only this time it's in car loans.

The commie’s are behind the riots, the outrage. The actions are by the quick response team CPUSA/A.N.S.W.E.R.

That’s what needs to be pointed out/posted/tweeted/FB’d, etc to the general public. The LSM won’t do it/report it, so it’s up to We the People, and conservative media, to explain (w/pics, etc) what this is REALLY all about.

It’s possible that the “arms raised” claim derived from witnesses seeing Brown extend his arms to brace for the fall as he was going down, just prior to the head shot, which I think was probably the final shot.

Hoodat: Three bullet wounds in the arm would make it pretty damn impossible for someone to hold up his arms.

"Unless it was the same bullet, first hitting the forearm, then upper arm."

Hows do you see that as possible (without a shot from the sky)? Diagram below:

The angles will tell a lot. I haven’t seen any reports/diagrams with that info.

I thought it was the shot to the eye that exited the jaw and went back in.

“Why doesn’t anyone ever call out blacks on their self-segregation? It’s as plain as day. Jackson, Sharpton, Farrakhan all have black security and flunkies.”

You can bet your azz they don’t have black accountants and tax attorneys!

Some things are too impotent(sic) to leave to affirmative action.

Same here. I think he was running toward the officer and the arm shots made him lose his balance and stumble, falling forward and putting the top of his head directly into the path of a bullet originally aimed at his chest.

I haven’t seen any. I think he was staying with his Grampa at that complex. The only photo I have seen is of the stepfather holding a sign saying they killed his son.
