Autopsy results enough to charge officer, Brown family attorney says

Ferguson, Missouri (CNN) -- An independent autopsy into the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, provides "ample" evidence to support the arrest of the police officer who shot him, family attorney Daryl Parks said Monday at a news conference.

Parks was particularly concerned about gunshots that medical examiners hired by the family indicate came from behind and above.

"Why would he be shot in the very top of his head, a 6-foot-4 man?" Parks asked. "Makes no sense."

The autopsy could support witnesses' suggestions that Brown was holding his hands up in the air, said Shawn Purcell, who assisted in the autopsy. But other scenarios are possible, said Dr. Michael Baden, who supervised the inquiry.

Inquiring minds want to know?
“Enquiring minds want to know” bastardized version, by National Enquirer!
My need to know is what to buy or not buy in ammo. The weapon seems to have functioned properly.
Have a wonderful day.

This is slightly off-topic, but it seems to have slipped by everyone that the shop owner who was attacked and robbed by Brown did NOT want to report the crime, and it was phoned in by a customer. Keep in mind that this was BEFORE Brown’s altercation with the police and any of the ensuing trouble. So it seems that there was a climate of fear in the neighborhood in which reporting a crime might lead to some sort of retaliation. Retaliation by Brown, or by his buddies? Or all of the above?

Less than a second worth of shots using a well tuned semi auto 9mm. IF a wound was in the top of the head, it could easily be the last of a string of shots and hit as the subject/thug is going down.

Every attorney for the plaintiff is going to say that. It will be interesting to see what the results of all these autopsies is going to be.

That’s what I was thinking too.

Is there a bullet to the extreme right side of the chest?

The bullet wound at the top of Brown’s head, is it a direct penetration or a glancing hit? Does the autopsy specify?

The autopsy said the bullet went in the top, exited the jaw, and then went back in at the collar bone.

The cop is a ninja and he leaped 30 feet into the air and shot straight down, somersaulted, landed, twirled his pistol, and then re-holstered.

He was likely shot while kissing concrete. What about the value of life in Chicago, NYC and etc.? 0’man should go pro and turn in his pension when he gets dragged out of our WH.

Go to a mirror. Hold up your arm, cocked like your going to throw a punch at somebody, and see how easy it would be for a bullet to hit the forearm and then upper arm.

I wish whites would/could self-segregate. “Diversities” get to choose the time and means of their so-called “segregation”, i.e., they’re not part of America when it suits them, but they’re part of America when they want to get paid/AA/quotas/lowered standards/Section 8 to live in white (safe, good schools, lower crime, clean) communities, etc.

I am not trained to read those wound charts, but it is confusing - “entry, re-entry, and exit” wounds are reference, but the diagram shows no wounds of any type on the rear torso. It seems the only way you could have both entry and exit wounds on the front of the torso would be if the person were in the process of falling forward as he was hit, and that one or more shots hit Brown when his body was more-or-less parallel to the ground, i.e., at something like a 90 degree angle to the officer.
