There is a problem and it comes from the leftists in this country. They promote non family values and they destroyed our school systems and just listen to the hate that comes out of their mouths. That is why there is a problem. Teaching peopel to hate this country from womb to tomb is not the answer. Without morality there is no chance of there being a fix for this problem.
It’s racist to try to civilize them - that would be making them “Act White”.
Perhaps Professor Gibbs should go to Ferguson and rescue some of those young people. She could write them a thesis or something.

Hey, I’m a Christian Conservative white male.
My dad left when I was 6. I’ve never done drugs or alcohol, never robbed anyone or anything, did my own homework, got myself a job, learned to save MY money and buy a home, etc...
This I did because I CHOOSE a certain standard of living for myself and my children. I was thinking of this even as a teen. MY future, -Not about being ‘Cool’ or ‘tough’ or having street cred or whatever... and screwing up the rest of my life.
And then blaming it on ‘the system’ or ‘the po-po’s’ or whitey or who/whatever.
That’s a cop out.
It takes a PARENT to teach a child RIGHT from WRONG and morality and ethics. Not too hard to do.
This isn’t just a race problem. There are neighborhoods near me that are predominantly white and are the same way.
It’s a CULTURE of “I can do what I want, when I want, to whom I want and ain’t NOBODY gunna get in my way or I’ll beat them down”.
It’s attitude. Black Liberation Theology is behind it. So sad.
Every time I read tripe like this,I want to send the author a copy of the book, “Bell Curve”. That book explains in stark detail why there are problems in the black communities.
