Nicolle Wallace, former adviser to the McCain-Palin 2008 presidential campaign who worked with Steve Schmidt, appeared on The View on Thursday (3/10/2014) and gushed over Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, and even Bill Clinton. Predictably, however, she trashed Sarah Palin.

Ya Wallace is a Conservative LOL, just like the the so called conservative they have on MSNBC afternoon show, Abby something, the both of them are about as Conservative as Meagan McCain
You’re right that you’re not alone. Expect, though, that a lot of women simply won’t so much as acknowledge a remark like the one to which you’re responding. I’m an immigrant from the east, and I simply cannot bear to hear the declarations of ignorance from Western men. And that is what they are when grown men start talking about synchronized cycles.
That is a lie and you should be ashamed of yourself for repeating lies.
Schmidt and Wallace both came out of the Bush-Cheney campaign and so far as I know had no connection to Romney.
Their primary job was to undermine Sarah Palin and write stories against her. McCain instructed her to follow their advice without questioning it.
They were running McCain's campaign, so dissing Palin wasn't their "primary job" by any means.
They do attack Palin now to excuse their defeat, but 1) McCain wasn't going to win the election in any case (the economy was too bad in 2008) and 2) it's understandable that campaign advisers would be angry at politicians who ignored their advice.
You can see a clip of Palin on her new TV channel completely winging it, without any kind of script or notes. If she was like that in the campaign the wrath of the McCain team would be easy to fathom.
Hm, interesting — I don’t know how much credibility I’d give it, but given John McCain’s character I wouldn’t simply dismiss it.
Of course she trashed Sarah. It’s what she’s been doing since BEFORE the election of 2008, even though she was supposed to be working for the Republican ticket.
