California’s environmental movement has been pushing for the use of eco-friendly ammunition for years, and they finally got it with a state law mandating a phase-out of lead shot. The goal is to reduce the amount of lead in the environment — if people are going to be using guns in a state where hunting is a widespread and popular activity, they should be doing so with the environment in mind (though many of course argue that seeing an overall drop in hunting in the long term in favor of more animal-friendly recreation and food sources would be a better end goal).

Green ammo is way to expensive.
It already costs me $1 to $2.50 per pull and that gets frickin expensive.
I already spend a couple hundred bucks for an afternoon of shooting and depending on how many rounds and the type of round I use I’ve spent over $1,000 bucks! !!
I vote for depleted uranium to replace lead in California bullets.

If the cops or military uses it (lead), it is OK for ‘citizens’.
(This is to force cops to only use ‘whatever’ green they can find.)
And even if they don’t. If it (lead) has ever been used in that type of arm, it is OK.

Regarding bullet replacement material for recently outlawed lead, and remembering that density is desirable, I recommend Liberal brains for the following reasons:
1. There is nothing quite as dense as a Liberal’s brain.
2. Liberals really only use a small part of their brain and then only on rare occasions.
3. Liberals are like most politicians in that their daily functioning is controlled by hind brain and spinal reflex.
4. As any physiology student can affirm, reptiles live quite well on hind brain/spinal reflexes.
5. While such reptile lab specimens are only able to sit and steal oxygen, much the same may be said of most Liberals.
6. There are more Liberals than lead deposits in America.
7. Were Liberals to be mined for bullet material, ALPO would purchase the mine waste.
