The State Department claimed Wednesday that they have been “looking at” developing a long-term strategy to fight ISIL in both Iraq and Syria for a year. There was a Retired General that’s a contributor to FNC on last week. He said that he’d be surprised if the Pentagon hadn’t been looking at ISIL and developing a plan for some months. He also indicated that some of his contacts at the Pentagon were livid about this situation. Sounds like the same old thing - Obama is the smartest guy in the room (in his and ValJal’s mind) and knows much more than anyone, including all the Generals, etc. that are knowledgeable on military strategery and matters.
