No thanks to that stupid lawsuit.

You don't know what you are talking about. Please stop spouting ignorance regarding that case.

I recently developed a mild reaction to peanuts, never had it before. Nearest Burger King we have is 20 miles away, they had one here but could not keep help. Used to like the Whopper last time I tried one was months ago and the thing was half done, they were busy and short handed. Now I eat at an Amish place a few miles from home. They make everything from start to finish. Food is great and very reasonable. You get a sandwich, they made the bread that day.

McD’s has been a last resort for me for the last couple of years. I rarely eat out anymore. I have a much healthier diet that I make myself.

I think some places use peanut oil when cooking, so you never know what you are really getting.

“These are less than $3.50 (and until beef prices got run up, were $2.95 just a couple of years ago)”

Burn corn in your car and the price of feedlot cattle goes up, most fertilizer is oil based, I think and thus fertilizer goes up. Transporting cattle to market costs more, tractor operation costs more, hell, everything costs more. Rustling cattle is becoming a booming business in our area. They caught a couple of kids stealing calves and taking them to their 2nd story apartment. Neighbors below thought they liked to dance a lot. They got caught after some months when one of the employees noticed they were bringing the calves to auction stuffed in the back of a small hatchback car.

Hardtimes brings out the best or the worst in people. Thanks Obama, you SOB.

Thoroughbred horse manure, composted, is the best thing I ever used. I am in horse country and the stuff works so well, I have come home from work and found the tomato plants had lifted the cages out of the ground and fell over. God only knows how many different steroids and other chemicals I have indirectly ingested. True story.

yes indeed. you can make better food at home, and often for less $ too, but at least you know more about what goes into it.

you are what you eat, after all... As for McD’s, we do know a little but about what they have in them....see these two articles for instance.....

How’s Burger King doing since the rollout of their fag burgers?

I have no idea. Last time I stopped was months ago and I didn’t notice the wrapper or hear about till later. If J.C. Penney is a good indicator, their sales are probably in the toilet. Why would any business cater to 2% of the population and alienate probably 90%? Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me.
