In the wake of the June 24 primary runoff election in Mississippi, state Sen. Chris McDaniel's staff found the numbers in Lafayette County home of the cabin which incumbent Sen. Thad Cochran has sometimes listed as his primary address just didn't add up.
We decided to check the machine tapes that were printed out of every machine at 7 p.m. when the polls closed, said Stephen Furney, a McDaniel campaign volunteer who helped in the election review process and signed an affidavit documenting what he saw in Lafayette County.
The Lafayette County circuit clerk gave us a total for the numbers to show the total number of votes cast. So with the help of the Cochran campaign, we reviewed the box containing those machine tape receipts and began to unravel them by machine number and precinct and go from there, Furney said.
The machine tape receipts Furney described are a fairly standard process throughout elections in Mississippi. Voters vote on a machine, and when poll workers wrap up for the end of the night, the machines at each precinct print a receipt with the total tally of votes for each candidate.
After we got through with all of that, we added up the total number of votes that was verified by the machine at every precinctand the total number of votes that were cast, and what the county reported, was in some instances not reconcilable, Furney said in a phone interview. I was there to just report facts. And the facts were [that] according to the machines, there were 1,038 votes less than what the county reported.
That 1,038 differential may be somewhat accounted for via absentee and affidavit ballots, the total of which, according to McDaniels campaign, was 569.

There seems to be a there there.
Well, well, well.
No surprise actually.
This is the most corrupt senate election since Al Franken!
STILL have yet to see any evidence produced and that is frustrating. Allegations are not evidence. Evidence and facts, that’s the only thing that matters. Where are they? Ugh.
Keep in mind this is most likely members of the republican party involved in cheating one another.

The progs will have a hard time denying voter ID if it’s Pubbies who got caught.
Behavior as criminal as any RAT. And the kicker is, the left can now say "see, we told you the right cheats" and not be lying.
Did you read the whole article? It appears that their own numbers are the evidence. The totals don’t match. Even if you assume that the absentee votes are included in the total, they are still off by 500+ votes. If the absentee votes are not included in the official total, they are off by 1000 votes.
So? They should be held to even a higher standard.
They always are, by the left.

I don’t have the link, but the affidavits filed by McDaniel’s campaign workers can be viewed online. In them you’ll find evidence that a lot of people who were ineligible to vote in the runoff did, in fact, vote.
There’s even a weird pattern across several counties where some of the evidence of Dem June 3rd voting was “struck through” and that’s where the real insider fraud investigation should probably start, because someone must have given county personnel instructions to line out the June 3rd Dem “voted” notations in bulk. The people who actually drew the strike-throughs aren’t going to be willing to go to jail for doing it, so they’d fold at the first hint that they could do some time.
That said, the number of people who voted in both primaries plus the number of strike-throughs doesn’t seem to be enough to overturn the result, but the affidavits only cover about half the counties. As the story indicated, the LaFayette Co lawyer wouldn’t let them examine the poll books, so there’s probably a motherlode of fraudulent votes/strike-throughs there. But again, it’s not likely to be enough.
There’s evidence available online, but I’m not sure there’s going to be enough of it in the end.
Electronic voting machines are the easiest means of voter fraud with no paper trail.
That's what's going to hurt him in court, plus the fact that his lawyer (stupidly, IMHO) is not asking for a re-vote but rather has asked only for McDaniel to be declared the winner. A large number of invalid votes might be enough to get a judge to call a new election, but without proof that those invalid votes were all cast for Cochran, there is zero basis to declare McDaniel the winner.
But, electronic voting machines DO have a paper trail. At least the ones I am familiar with do.
The optical scan machines have a tape of every vote cast, and so do the touch screen machines. Their numbers should add u to equal the numbers of people who came into the polls + the number of absentee ballots cast.
What is so odd about this case is that the clerk in charge will not allow the campaign to see the absentee ballot record and will not affirm whether the absentee ballots are included in the total. But their numbers are still off. The question is whether their numbers are off by 500 or 1000 votes.
