Terror study group finds “sovereign citizens”, “militia/patriot groups” among greatest threat to US

The nation’s law enforcement agencies, from local cops all the way to the Department of Homeland Security, are always on the lookout for terrorist threats, and that includes at home as well as in far flung deserts and mountains. And they’re collecting data on all sorts of groups. What may come as a surprise is that, if you’re a regular reader of Hot Air or many other similar outlets, you might be one of the people they are watching! A new report this summer from a group of university analysts has identified the chief concerns of law enforcement agents at all levels, and some of them might surprise you. (A hat tip for locating this report goes to Crooks and Liars who apparently discovered it.)

First, law enforcement perceptions about what is a serious threat in their community has changed significantly over time. Law enforcement is much more concerned about sovereign citizens, Islamic extremists, and militia/patriot group members compared to the fringe groups of the far right, including Christian Identity believers, reconstructed traditionalists (i.e., Odinists), idiosyncratic sectarians (i.e., survivalists), and members of doomsday cults. In fact, sovereign citizens were the top concern of law enforcement, but the concern about whether most groups were a serious terrorist threat actually declined for most groups (e.g., the KKK; Christian Identity; Neo-Nazis; Racist Skinheads; Extremist Environmentalists; Extreme Animal Rights Extremists).

Wow. There’s a lot to wrap your head around just in that one paragraph from the Executive Summary portion of the report. It would seem that militia/patriot groups are up on the top shelf with Islamic extremists. Also interesting are the groups who are identified as “fringe” while not getting top billing. Who knew that Christian Identity believers made the cut?

Nothing strikes terror in the hearts of Marxist, Islamic radical sympathizing, Control Freak, Communist/Socialist, anti Bill of Rights, anti Constitution, God hating & big government worshipping, control freaks, more than God Fearing, USA loving, Constitution abiding, Freedom loving, well armed, well educated citizens who intend with all our being for this nation too remain free from the goal of those who wish to overthrow our government for their radical dictatorship utopia. If that sounds like terrorist or terrorism then someone needs to find them a more suitable nation to live in. This ones taken it was bought by the blood of those who believed in freedom.

Hmm. The not mentioned common street gangs have killed more people than all of these combined.

When you think of it, Hillary’s “It Takes a Villiage” lays down a premise that each member of our community is responsible for helping children to grow up to be good people

and then you see what leftists consider "good people"

Is he saying that he is not an American citizen? If so, then he should leave and go to North Korea.

No, they are American Citizens, they're just not citizens of the United States. They're what the Founders knew as State Citizens, and they are under the jurisdiction of their respective, Sovereign State, not the feral federal government.

Thus the term Sovereign Citizen.

----

Here are quotes from a few relatively recent court cases.

“There is a difference between privileges and immunities belonging to the citizens of the United States as such, and those belonging to the citizens of each state as such”.
Ruhstrat v. People, 57 N.E. 41 (1900)

“The rights and privileges, and immunities which the fourteenth constitutional amendment and Rev. St. section 1979 [U.S. Comp. St. 1901, p. 1262], for its enforcement, were designated to protect, are such as belonging to citizens of the United States as such, and not as citizens of a state”.
Wadleigh v. Newhall 136 F. 941 (1905)

“There are, then, under our republican form of government, two classes of citizens, one of the United States and one of the state”.
Gardina v. Board of Registrars of Jefferson County, 160 Ala. 155; 48 So. 788 (1909)

“That there is a citizenship of the United States and citizenship of a state,...”
Tashiro v. Jordan, 201 Cal. 236 (1927)

Quoting Cruikshank
“The governments of the United States and of each state of the several states are distinct from one another. The rights of a citizen under one may be quite different from those which he has under the other”.
Colgate v. Harvey , 296 U.S. 404; 56 S.Ct. 252 (1935)

“ …as distinct from the fundamental or natural rights inherent in state citizenship”.
Madden v. Kentucky , 309 U.S. 83: 84 L.Ed. 590 (1940)

“As you prepare to figure out whether or not you’re on the terror watch list, it’s important to remember just what this report is and is not. While the name “Homeland Security” is all over it, the report does not come from DHS. It was prepared by a group of university professors and was submitted to Homeland Security for consideration. “

Trust me, they want to reach this conclusion. Obama and crowd are itching to make opposition illegal, or the next best thing to illegal.

Historically, the threat of any of these groups is low to nonexistent. But they are treating such people like they are Hamas against Israel.

Why? They know they are intent on taking this country in a direction destined to make such people a true enemy to their RULERS. Libs know that threat is coming, from their own extra-constitutional actions.

“The not mentioned common street gangs have killed more people than all of these combined.”

The gun grabbers that are leading the charge and part of this same cabal, strangely never mention the urban street gangs either. Yet they are in reality a real threat to many. Could it be because politicians prefer to call out and attack anglo whites and Christians as racists rather than calling out others as the real threats?

Does the SPLC have a hand in this deciding which Americans are threats and which are not? Apparently conservatives are always considered a threat in their biased (just as does IRS) outlook. Do the citizens get a say in this or do only the public servants?

They would have to face tragedy, caused by their fellow democrats. To change their minds. Someone they loved would have to be killed, or raped and beaten by a muslim or a mexican. Most likely this wouldn’t change them, over time as the grief sets in. You have to plant seeds in their minds, get them really thinking. The reason that America is progressive is that the media is in the tank for them, hollywood, basic tv is full of liberal ideas and garbage.

The way to win, is to fight the media, a lot of this is accomplished by radio talk shows, and conservative TV programming. Problem is, big basic tv programs all have a few choices to choose between, CNN/MSN/FOX/NBC/AMC. Most of these won’t care if the message makes them money, if it is a conservative message or not.

We need channels and news completely devoted to conservative ideas, making people laugh at the folly of democrats. Things like the daily show, and the colbert report but with conservative ideas. Plant the seed and you will eventually win them over. It may take a few decades, but the commies have done it, it’s not too late. It’s important for people like Sarah Palin to create their own networks. But here is the twist, put on programming that will interest democrats, drop little hints here and there criticizing all the commies in governments. We need hit shows and late night things like SNL/MADD TV/Colbert/Stewart, to plant the seed. Doesn’t have to be boring. I mean look at Duck Dynasty. People everywhere LOVE that show, that family does a great service, every democrat that watches that show gets a seed directly deposited into their brain, and it grows.

Start pumping money into hollywood, giving money to studios to hire conservative actors and writers. As long as the big entertainment companies make money, it doesn’t matter what the programming is, no commie liberal democrat can deny a kickback, or a gift, for a mutual backscratching. How do you thing most democrats get information about world events. Most of it comes through entertainment, and it’s taken at face value because there isn’t an opposing view. There’s no reason for them to think when 90% of entertainment is pro liberal/PC bullshit/criticizing good conservative leadership. Entertainment changed as SOON as they realized this, it takes years and years but the end result is what we have now for the liberals.

No question---their lavish lifestyles in Miami (where they congregate) sure aren't subsidized by selling "Cubanos"---the popular Cuban pork and cheese sandwich.

IF they are so concerned about Muslim terrorists-—they should investigate the purchases of land east of Fresno for training purposes by Muslims.

Hamas has been hiding artillary & ammo & rockets inside of & under Mosques in Gaza.

Who is stupid enough to think they won’t do the same here in the USA with all the new Mosques being built?????
