Pattern of NRA support for wobbly RINOs continues...? NRA leadership should hear about it.

The NRA is the Second Amendment's Chamber of Crony-Fascists.

Money. They are searching for money. Any major organization does. They see more money from the GOPe then from the Tea Party right now

I expect they figure he’ll win again so they want to have him in their corner. That’s the power of being both the incumbent and the establishment candidate. It’s also the reason we need to destroy the present 2-party system to get any meaningful change of direction in this country.

Hasn’t the NRA backed Harry Reid in the past?

As far as the NRA goes, I will never forgive them for the Harry Reid fiasco.

Why I’m out of the NRA.
Screw them and their flexible principles.
When I was growing up my father explained to me the slippery slope of “situation ethics”. I saw his point, but didn’t really think about it much. It is so clear now why “situation ethics” is really no ethics at all.
Liberals live by “situation ethics”, it’s their 10 commandments rolled into one. As do our pseudo conservative representatives and organizations like the NRA. Principles are changed and abandoned like a hooker’s underwear.

The NRA always backs the incumbent unless they have below a C rating.

If you check the NRA link for the TN race you will see that they didn’t endorse anyone in that race. The article is BS.

They supported Thad Cochran over Chris McDaniel in Mississippi too. I don’t think I will renew my membership. They are anti Tea Party.

C'mon guys - NRA ALWAYS supports pro-gun incumbent over pro-gun challenger - why are y'all shocked each time they do that?
They calculate the most efficient way to support gun-rights, which is to always back the RKBA incumbent, no matter how squishy on anything (or everything) else.

The 2012 election was a disaster for the NRA. They lost 7 of 8 Senate races they put 100k or more in and 1/2 of the House races they were involved in. Maybe this is a good thing.

I canceled my NRA membership ... after they endorsed-supported Mitch McConnell ...

The NRA has succumbed to power politics. Everything is now about power & perceived influence.
Conservatives are gonna have to go rogue, voting against the elitists who have taken over the Republican party, the NRA, & other supposed conservative organizations.
Either vote for conservative, 3rd party candidates or vote for the Democrat if it means voting out the fat cat RINOs. Cancel your NRA membership.
Look at it this way: RINOs are gonna vote this country into Hell along with the Rats, so we might as well have a Rat in office than a lying RINO. The NRA is in bed with the elitists who hate guns in the hands of citizens. By supporting Alexander it is tacitly supporting more gun control, bigger government, more tyranny.
The likes of Alexander & Cochran are traitors to their base. It's time the base voted for anybody but them. Let the NRA get its money from the elitists it supports.
