Why is it still an issue though? I thought that everyone in WI (except the union bosses) was demonstrably better off since it happened anyway, so they wouldn’t be complaining about it.

It’s still an issue because unions don’t like losing, even if they ARE better off for losing.

That’s the problem. Unions can’t have people realizing that they are better off without them.

That's all it takes for a suit.

The WI state employees (e.g. teachers, DOT, DOA, etc.) certainly took a hit, as they have to pay some of the medical insurance now.

Keep in mind that the suit was initiated right after it was passed. Once you unleash one of these things, it is next to impossible to stop.

Ah, you're forgetting the political campaign recipients of the union dues and assessments.

Probably people that get paid for running campaigns, and the downstream media outlets, too.

Union membership has taken a nosedive, proving your point. This is all driven by liberal politicians and union bosses who see their power disappearing.
