The United States economy rebounded heartily in the spring after a dismal winter, the Commerce Department reported on Wednesday, growing at an annual rate of 4 percent from April through June and surpassing economists’ expecations.

The inventory levels soared.

Yeah, companies produced some stuff. But they are not selling it to the end consumer.

With the elections just a couple months away, this is about the time I figured the Media would start covering for Obama again. Not that they ever really quit.

We should expect to see nothing but unicorns and lollipops from the Media in regards to the Democrats from here till the end of November and Republicans will be portrayed as evil and all that’s wrong with the universe.

I thought I read earlier that June data was incomplete and this was purely an estimate..

I don’t believe any economic data published by the Federal Government. That is a very sad thing to say.

Exactly. Wait until the lies about the 3rd quarter come out just before the mid-term elections.

So-called low information voters (I prefer low IQ voters - most are still stupid even with the information) eat the BS up.

Indeed! Could this have been similar to conversations between the White House and the IRA...as well as the DOJ?

I don’t either. I wonder how many millions, if not billions, of dollars we waste putting out BS statistics.

The same with the CBO and the GAO and all the IG’s. Waste of money. Everyone knows the CBO is garbage in/garbage out. The GAO issues reports that change nothing, no one gets fired, no one goes to jail.

The IG’s show corruption and, again, nothing ever happens.

Total waste of billions of dollars that never stop. All these useless bureaucrats will be paid billions more when they “retire” for life.

They deliberately release “optimistic” numbers because state-controlled media ignores the corrected numbers when they come out.

Lol! The register language of their ideology/philosophy is so easy to mimic, you’d think the vast majority of the public could have readily seen through them much earlier. Unfortunately, their beginnings of awakening may be a bit too late now.

PS Love the quote by Camus on your home page.

Bingo, we have a winner! They’ve been fiddling with the inflation number for the last few years to keep a positive GDP number and that’s in addition to the revisions on how the GDP is calculated to double count some economic activity and to include phantom economic activity.

Thanks! When do I get my certificate?

I have been watching earning drop as raises are below the real inflation rate.
I won’t complain - being employed right now is pretty good!
But our currency is being debased and it will have an impact on us internationally.

Yeah, well, we’re importing the economy killers now aren’t we. Just wait until next quarter. For every 100 illegal alien jobs, 65 American workers are displaced and we’ve recently imported millions of illegal aliens. Plus, the tax dollars that were earmarked to help Americans get ahead, now go to people in this country illegally. Healthcare premiums will rise, due to all the newly uninsured population who become permanent patients in emergency rooms. Crime will rise tremendously...prostitution, drugs, human trafficking, assaults, burglaries, gang violence and car thefts. Along with rising crime comes rising costs to control it...prisons and jails, etc. Not to mention the lives of law enforcement officers targeted by drug cartels, etc. Local, State and Federal budgets will all suffer. These people drain the budgets and entitlement programs - they do no contribute. Education budgets will suffer due to all the specialized classes and classrooms for people here illegally. Unemployment will rise tremendously as Americans are displaced by cheap labor - five dollars and hour - of those here illegally. As the cost of labor goes down, due to slave labor, so does American’s paychecks. Income inequality will rise. Horrible policy from a horrible Democratic Party of America - the anti-American atheistic socialist party.
