Is this a valid point of view?

I don't care if a pro-Abortion Socialist takes a Senate seat in a normally conservative state.

I don't care that with Alison Grimes in the Senate there could be millions of more abortions around the world and nation wide than if she hadn't won

I don't care because Mitch McConnell is such a nasty guy who insulted me

Mitch must learn a lesson.

Let the babies die.

This thread on the KY Senate race inspired this question.

So what does the EWTN say about voting for pro-death penalty and anti-illegal alien candidates?

You did not say if you want McConnell to lose, which, many having stated this, is the basis for my response.

I don’t care what the RINO’s count on.

There are two possibilities.

One, Mitch loses and learns a lesson. A lot of people feel good.

She wins and there is a Barbara Boxer from KY added to the Senate.

Two, she loses and we are spared more of that.

Sure, one feels good, but the damage is worse.

Yeah, but Grimes is not David and she is the one who will replace Saul.

Davies time will come, but not if we put in a Molech worshipper to replace Saul.

Keeping Grimes out is more important than Mitch losing.

I will say again, the day after he wins, start the recall campaign.

But don’t let Grimes win.

Makes no sense to anyone who holds conservative values and believes in the Constitution and our system of government.

You appear to dislike Mitt, from your tagline (above), and I know that `Jim Thompson’ doesn’t care for him at all.

I’m not sure I would call aversion to Yertle the Turtle as “hatred”. He’s more like stepping in something wet while wearing socks or soggy toast.
Or getting steamy with your hot, new cheerleader girlfriend at the drive-in movie, but finding out “she”s a guy!

In any event, who am I to disagree with you and the owner?
Conservatives expect our friends to treat us well, and enemies, vice versa.
So Obama is expected, while Mitch is a constant surprise for conservatives ... like Juan McCain, et al.
(Oh yeah, you inspired my own tag line revision.)

You can push Mitch all you want, FNG, but Popeye and I say,
“He’s spinach, and to hell with him.”

I’m OK with McConnell losing. God knows he deserves to have his butt handed to him. I’m no fan of Grimes or any other democrat and would never support her, but that doesn’t make Ditch Mitch any more palatable.

Child sacrifice legalized by a nation is unforgivable in God’s eyes. It was 40 years in 2013.

This is the only time in the Old Testament that God does not forgive the nation of Israel. Manasseh did repent and tore down the sacrificial clinics but God did have Israel invaded by the Babylonians which is why Daniel was serving Nebuchadnezzar. Read Lamentations and then cast your vote.

“However, the LORD did not turn from the fierceness of His great wrath with which His anger burned against Judah, because of all the provocations with which Manasseh had provoked Him. And the LORD said, “I will remove Judah also from My sight, as I have removed Israel. And I will cast off Jerusalem, this city which I have chosen, and the temple (house) of which I said, ‘My name shall be there’.”
“Surely at the command (mouth) of the LORD it came upon Judah, to remove them from His sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done, and also for the innocent blood which he shed, for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; AND THE LORD WOULD NOT FORGIVE.” (All caps mine) 2 Kings 23: 26 & 27 and 24: 3 & 4

There is an easy solution as well. Get him elected, so Grimes loses, then recall him.

Elected Federal offices are not subject to recall.

Thanks for saying nothing.

Except, right now being ok with McConnell losing is also being ok with Grimes as the newly minted Senator from KY.

McConnell had a conservative challenger in the primaries.

Did you work to support his primary challenger?

I don’t care what the RINO’s count on.

Then get out there and campaign for him! The RINOs and moneyed-country-clubbers will thank you. And if he wins you'll get lots and lots more nominees just like him year after year, and the GOP will slip back to the days of Ford and Rockefeller and never return to the Party of Reagan.

I advocated voting for Bevin.

I wish Bevin had won the primary, but he failed.

My point is that Grimes is worse for the nation.

“if he wins you’ll get lots and lots more nominees just like him year after year”

This is the logical fallacy.

Letting a leftist Democrat pro-Abortionist win in Kentucky will not make it better for conservatives in future primaries.
