Throwing bombs like “traitor to principles and nation” around the forum you come off like a party hack trying to defend the indefensible.

McConnell needs to burn. It is far more valuable to the country that the man who deliberately attacked the Tea Party be thrown out of office than that we retain a weak milk-sop Rino who won’t do anything of any value for us.

Dislike McConnell as much as anyone, but if the damn dems hold the Senate majority, there’ll be unhappy times ahead.

The time to kick Mitch was in the Primary. Either his opponent didn’t have enough money or enough voter support or Mitch stole the election. Same thing happened with Cornyn, his two main Primary opponents (one likely a strawman) didn’t have enough powder to blow their noses.

The bottom line is that while Grimes is a Democrat, she fights all Republicans. McConnell fights the Tea Party, not the Democrats. And he is in a position to cause far more harm to conservative causes by stabbing us in the back.

She would be a fairly powerless freshman senator, but for McConnell to lose would kick the GOP-e and the RINOs in their pasty, shriveled up rear ends.

Ruh-roh...looks like he shouldn’t have gloated about crushing the TEA Party. He foolishly set fire to the bridge that he is now trying to stand on.

It is the duty of people who believe in the principles put forth by the Tea Party to guillotine that traitor's neck.

Again, the nation needs for this man to be made into an example.

I wouldn’t vote for McConnell, he doesn’t stand for anything I do. I would skip that line on the ballot.

Write in someone you think is the best man or woman for the job. Hell, vote for yourself if there is no other option. At this point, it doesn't matter, 'cause we're screwed one way or the other. Load the magazines, 'cause it's coming sooner rather than later.

I always hate to see a Senate seat go Democrat. Mitch is pretty bad but we need control of the Senate in a bad way.

With the terrible economy and this country being run in to the ground by 0bama and the democrats, these races should be slam dunks for the republican party. Instead, the leadership of the republican party is just as out of touch with the American people and reality as the democrats are. Too bad the people of Kentucky didn’t primary McConnell. He needed to be.

At what point is voting for the lesser of two evils not good enough? While I would be hard-pressed to vote for Grimes, it would be equally difficult to vote for McConnell. He’s been a disaster the past few years. Since keeping Obamacare unanimous, he’s done more to help Obama than a Democrat could be.

By the way, if I was in MS, I WOULD cast a vote for the Dem after the Cochran campaign’s antics. Despicable race bating by our own party can not be tolerated.

My guess is there are a lot of Alison Lundergan Grimes supporters here.

If so, you are a traitor and turncoat to your principles and nation.

Nobody supports Grimes. *I* fully support the idea of our enemy killing one of our traitors.

You want to shoot us in the back? Yeah, I hope the enemy puts you down. McConnell needs to be fragged by his own side.

"...there’ll be unhappy times ahead."

In case you hadn't noticed, we've been in unhappy times for 15-20 years now. They keep getting worse, yet we chicken shi'ite so-called "conservatives" and Pubbies stay meek, quiet, and cowed.

Many of us thought 9-11 would've been enough to wake us up, but evidently not. Because we've been so worthless, lazy and silent, we're going to have to fight for our freedom. As Churchill said, as frightening as that is, it's better than living as slaves.

McConnell literally declared war on the TEA Party and uses his influence to defund TEA Party candidates and whatever else. I have no doubt he is busy doing those things.

I don’t care because it’s not the case.

Letting her win will have decades of impact on KY and on the nation.

McConnell will be gone after this one term. She will be there decades.

Just wait. There are six years to get the best candidate to win the primary in 2020.

My comment is to reflect my contempt for those who cannot even support the conservative insurgency with patience and planning but must destroy by siding with liberals and leftists.

There are people who support Grimes.

Not voting for McConnell in the general helps put Grimes in.

That will give KY their own Feinstein/Boxer crazy liberal leftist in a lifetime seat.

On the other hand, McConnell is an old man and this will be his last term.

“My guess is there are a lot of Alison Lundergan Grimes supporters here.”

You would be incorrect. There are, however, any number of those who remember the continual treachery of Mitch McConnell, and would not lift a finger to help him. He hates conservatives so much, let him struggle in his election and win without their votes...if he can.

I know that we presume Senate seats to be lifetime, but would that really be true in a state like Kentucky?

Do you really think that Grimes could play the incumbency card if she spent the next six years aligning with Harry Reid in a red state?

Maybe the Scott Brown example is more apt. A Republican in a Massachusetts Senate seat? A one-time fluke of circumstance that was corrected in the next general election?

Would a Grimes win in 2014 be more like that?

You are aware that Mitch McConnell is involved in, and providing funding for the "RACIST!" smear of McDaniels (and the entire National Tea Party) in Mississippi?

We may take a short term loss of a Senate seat, but the benefit of eradicating this traitor is so much greater than that.

It is essential to our cause to chop off Mitch McConnell's head.
