The common, sorry ass DEMOCRAT Attorney General of North Carolina by the name of Roy Cooper now says as a result of this ruling he will not defend real marriage in court. This is the same weasel POS that has said for years he would defend the law as long as he was state AG. Roy Obama Cooper also wants to run for governor. He can kiss that goodbye. Two short years ago North Carolina VOTED an amendment into the State Constitution saying marriage is one man and one woman. So a word to anyone that lives in a state with a democrat sitting in the Attoney General office. It’s a matter of time because the worthless bastard says he will not defend marriage in the state if it does not allow queers to get “married”. They all have marching orders from Eric Holder.
Unless he nullifies the 4th Circuit, every AG located within the Circuit (including NC) is bound to obey its rulings. I’ll note that the Court has stayed its ruling, albeit only temporarily.
One more reason I didn’t support the guy. He didn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground. Sadly, his advisers were many times worse than that too.
When it came to judges, he was a clueless wonder...

False. The Oath of Office for the North Carolina Attorney General requires the holder of the office to obey federal laws before state laws. When the 4th Circuit orders you to do something, you do it, unless you can get a stay from the US Supreme Court.

Don't ask me -- I didn't write the opinion. But I do know that the rule of Law, the supremacy of Federal law over State law and the powers of the federal judiciary are all in the US Constitution. So when a Circuit Court orders you to do something, you do it. In North Carolina's case, the state even acknowledges in its oath of office for Attorneys General that federal law takes precedence. And federal judges -- not state elected officials -- determine what federal law says. Even when we don't like it.
Impeachment? To hell with “impeachment” - that is the coward’s way of NOT dealing with the problem.
Save the pointless discussions of “impeachment” for the babbling effeminate twits in Congress. Not one of them is worth a bucket of horse piss. And I don’t give a rat’s tail if they have an ‘R’ or a ‘D’ or an ‘I’ - or whatever label is in vogue these days, after their names - It’s all Kabuki theater. ALL OF IT!
