Operation Protective Edge. Israel’s government unanimously rejected a ceasefire offer advanced by US Secretary of State John Kerry while Hamas officials were said to still be considering the plan. West Bank violence continued to escalate, with five Palestinians reported killed in riots. With the Gaza death toll said to pass 700, Israeli military sources said several hundred Hamas gunmen had been killed. The IDF death toll is 35. IDF-Hamas fighting in Gaza remains intensive, and rockets are still being fired into Israel, but foreign airlines are returning to Ben-Gurion airport.

Perhaps Kerry should have kept his stupid comment about Israel’s “pinpoint” operation in Gaza to himself.
Perhaps asking the mother of a dead IDF American soldier “how’s your day” at the memorial service was a tad inappropriate.
But didn’t Kerry serve in Vietnam?
Lurch and Obama EPIC Fail. Unanimous rejection. Hamas is on the ropes and Lurch and Obama want to give them some time to reload the rockets. EPIC FAIL.

Doesn’t say what was in the cease fire agreement but if Israel rejected it straight out and Hamas is thinking about it, it probably wasn’t good.

I lament the deaths of the 35 IDF soldiers.
In truth, I don’t like seeing deaths on either side, the terrorists excluded of course.
I just wish the Palestinian people would at some point have had enough of this disgusting situation to rise up and slaughter those among their own, who continually bring Israel into this type of situation it really doesn’t want either.
Hamas isn’t thinking about it.
It’s thinking, how many more rockets do we have, and how long will it take to use them up?
