There are three possibilities that apply to the question;
1. Whenever there is a crisis going on in the Obama Administration, Global Warming is used to change the venue to get the heat off the President, as it were.

2.Asking who is to blame for climate change is like asking when did you start beating your wife.

3. Falls under ask a stupid question and you won't even get close to getting a stupid answer because the answer is just too darn stupid. Responding with "AlGore" only gets them crazier.

The sea is rising faster than anywhere on the east coast.

Climate change must be true.

It’s still July and the nuts are already falling from the tree.

IF the MSM was not so in-the-bag so-to-speak for the Leftist’s, and there was truth in Journalism today there’d be no “Climate Change” discussion. It would have been restricted to the back sections of crackpot publications, and never ever discussed in intellectual circles.

Personally, I am more of the belief that the Earth is a constantly evolving chunk of stuff, that for the most part, man can have little actual tectonic effect on , short of spiking faults with nukes, or tossing non-virgins into volcanos to appease the gods of the netherworld and getting rejected.

It’s a giant squeeze toy, ya put pressure on in one place, it bulges in another as a form of compensation.

Oh vell, meteorologists and geoscientists know a helluva lot more than I do about the shrinking effects of the Earth and sun cycles as they happen.

In the end tho, I see them as just more ‘Epoch’ fails , both in their predictions and their goals.

How can the sea level rise faster in one place than another?

Here in southeastern Virginia, our biggest city, Norfolk, is saddled with an unwanted claim to fame. As The Washington Post has reported, Norfolk is the place "where normal tides have risen 1.5 feet over the past century and the sea is rising faster than anywhere else on the East Coast."

Sure, like that spot in my swimming pool where the water is 6" higher than everywhere else.

These people are idiots. If sea level rise isn't equally distributed there can only be two reasons. First, gravity is significantly different from location to location. Second, the land is sinking.

Is the sea rising or is the ground sinking?

If the phenomenon is localized, the latter is far more probable.

NPR notes that the Norfolk area "is particularly vulnerable because the land is sinking as sea levels are rising."

Swell, man-made land sinking too.
